Hooray - now with Zoom!
Great app - gives some really interesting and arty results.
And now this update has a zoom function, so you can do more detailed work - which is exactly what I'd been hoping for.

Potential....
Is simple but not quite ready for prime time...
Would be remarkable if:
1. You could zoom in to "erase" the artify effects - allowing more precise control of details you want to bring out.
2. It didn't crash while saving (ie AFTER you have worked to get everything how you want) on large files... Not cool when you have worked on something for any amount of time.
3. It had a lot more features, effects, and better controls. It needs this to be of value for serious frame-able renditions of your photos.
For simple playing around I guess it is fine, but the above limitations make it far less usable to me as I was wanted to produce framed works for my home... I find the controls woefully inadequate for such an endeavor.

Lovin my new FB profile pics!
I'm getting a huge kick out of my little dollar spent! Artify makes my average shot totally unique. Transforming 'night out' pics into impressionist style art w my friends has been awesome. I'm already looking forward to getting to try out some new styles when they come out with them!
Sweet, simple, and endless variations
Very sweet app. I was a bit worried about only one effect, but there are so many easy ways to adjust and tune the effect that there really are almost endless styles. It's simple to make sweet pictures from the start -- I use my very first image as my phone background. (As a bonus, it even kept my 7-year old entertained for nearly an hour on a car trip!)

I am not impressed
Pixelates your picture. that's about it. See the pics on the app description. When I do a persons face, you can no longer tell who they are. For 99 cents, it's worth at least checking out.
Artify is Amazing!
I thoroughly enjoyed this app. With Artify you are able to either take your own picture and change the photo to make it look like a painting or use existing photos that you have in your photo album. You are able to use this with the latest Ipod Touch and it works perfectly fine.
It is very easy to change the photo and the finished product looks really lovely!

Artify memories in a classy way
Been having a great time going thru my favorite family photos and artifying them. Its so easy to use. A priceless way make your favorite photos a piece of art.
It's broken my Angry Birds addiction
I'm having a great time artify-ing my iphone pictures. It's easy and fun. I'm looking forward to updates with additional painting styles.
