Easy to use! effective
was struggling to identify an alien looking house plant I have. Other apps proved to be highly ineffective in doing so. After trying 3 other apps I came across this precious gem. It's easy, one narrows down results based on what your plant looks like, and ta-da: House not alien, but an actual plant Asclepias carnosa.

Bare bones start
This method of identifying plants based on specific characters can work well.
Pros: Easy to get started, does not require much experience to narrow the list of possible plants with just a few choices.
Cons: Few plants included in the library, few helps or cues if you are unsure about the choices.
Biggest problem: this app is basically a tool to send you to the developers website for more information. It becomes, in effect, an advertising tool for their other app which costs $15.Glassman3309
