Emergency Closure Notice
Why not list and send an alert when unplanned road closures occur? Today Riverwoods Rd was closed due to a house fire on Hiawatha. I think school busses, school districts should have been notified, not to mention all the people needing to get to work. (At least 5 buses from three districts enter this area.) In addition it would have been helpful to divert the traffic before everyone had to individually speak to the officers trying to close it off to traffic. I appreciate the app having construction notices, but most people see that ahead of time with all the signage and cones starting to be put up. This app could be especially helpful when accidents close lanes or major streets in Lake County, like Riverwoods Rd. today.Show lessBe A Lert

I installed this app on 2/21/11 as a result of news on icy conditions. Great up to date info is provided! Much better than what's available on the website. Camera views are great and the live radio feed is awesome.rgartley
