10 Frame Fill 1.5.6 Update Fiixed an error I introduced while preparing the update for iOS 10. The error is seen when tapping the “New Frame” button. So, far the error has only been reported on the iPhone/iPod version of the app. I apologize for the the need to install another update so close to the last one. As time allows, I’d enjoy hearing how the app is being used in classrooms. be well, randy hengst

• Added an option to the iPad version to show one randomly select number sentence at a time rather than all number sentece types that were selected. • Added an option to the iPod version to show one randomly select number sentence at a time. • Set the feedback color on number buttons to remain on until the New Frame button is pressed. That should help make it clearer to students to tap the New Frame button for the next problem.

However, I don’t have one to test it on. It does work on the newest iPod. • Added an option to the iPad version to show number sentences with the 10 Frame.

Description of 10 Frame Fill

"10 Frame Fill" provides children practice with recognizing additive "10 Families" (e.g., 1 and 9, 2 and 8, etc.). Set the 10 Frame to fill in sequence or randomly. Use contrasting color chips to fill the 10 frame as you determine the answer. Select to show a corresponding number sentence. • The iPad version includes an option to show select number sentences... one at a time or all types that were selected. • The iPhone/iPod version to show one randomly select number sentence at a time. Designed as part of the NumberSense Project at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.
