My grandson loved the fire truck. I wish I would have read the review before purchasing. He played it for 1 minute then back to the fire truck.

This app is so cute for little guys who love trash trucks. My 23 month old is obsessed with the garbage truck so when I did a search and found this app I was so excited. It doesn't do a whole lot but my son is so young it's perfect!
It's cool, but needs more.
I really think this app could benefit from a bit more going on. Some stops could have more trash barrels than others, maybe some differently colored barrels. Instead of just various cars, there could be a bicycle that goes by (with a ringing bell when tapped) and someone walking a dog or baby carriage (bark/giggle when tapped). Instead of just the same smiley face on the airplane's banner every time, there could be alternating shapes or letters. I love the concept but it needs more creativity!!

My 20 month old likes this. He loves when the man dumps trash into the garbage truck. Unfortunately the app keeps malfunctioning. The garbage truck disappears but the driver remains, suspended in midair! Other than that, it is good.
Great potential
For our 1y5m baby it would be awesome if: slower speed option also makes airplanes and passing cars go by slower. And most importantly, get rid of the green Go button. Totally non works for a baby. Just let a tap anywhere drive the truck on.

Thank you for the new iPad version!! When I came on here to thank you for that I noticed the previous reviewer who had mentioned that thee isn't much going on and I wanted to say that my son specifically loves how focused this app is on just picking up the trash and dumping it. This and road roller are his absolute favorites. And I think it is because they literally mimic a matchbox car and how simple yet imaginative they are.
I cannot say enough good things about this app! My son LOVES garbage trucks and everything related to them so this app has been a super fun game for him. So happy that someone made an app for the toddler garbage loving set!

Simply awesome.
Get this and the other truck apps. I have all of them and my 3 yr old loves them.
If your child is into trucks, then these are great. Plenty of action and well thought out interaction. I was amazed to see the logic development in my son when we would get him a new game, thinking about where to click etc.

Disappointing
My son LOVES the fire truck and tow truck, but the garbage truck does so little in comparison. Pick up trash and compact it....is that it?
Waste of money
Useless- froze as soon as installed, then was the same scene over and over again- held my two year olds attention for around 3 seconds, also couldn't see a way out of app once running!

Doesn't have guards against downloading when it's not compatible...
Didn't open at all... I guess it's because my iPhone is not advanced enough for it but many other sellers put the guards against downloading if the app is not compatible with the device....
Surely my 59p will add to the revenues of the creators of this application but I think the consequences of bad reviews will be dearer for a long run-doesn't look like a good trade-off to me!
When contacted the company, haven't heard anything back-the app is not well supported either.
Ok, now I have an iPad so I managed to open the app - its so rubbish I can't believe the developers have the cheek to charge for it! It's very basic and once you started playing there are no buttons to return back to the main menu.
Verdict - a total rip off.
