This game was completely ruined
This game used to be so fun, but was completely ruined by the changes to the control sensitivity. It’s impossible to play now. I’m not sure why the developer would ever make this change!i-am-boni
Cheap imitation of the original
When this game first came out, it was a masterpiece of physical simulation. There were so many features back then that have been removed entirely for some reason.
If you wished for the ball to fly straight without curving at all, that used to be a feature in the past.
If you wished for the ball to curve only slightly one way or the other, instead of rocketing off in the wrong direction, you could easily do so once upon a time.
Somewhere along the line, the physics engine was gutted and replaced. The game now reminds me more of QWOP, or perhaps goat simulator. On the bright side though, it does work as an excellent gag app to annoy your friends.Show lessaverage review

Used to be good
The original version of this game years ago was great. Somewhere along the line they messed with the physics of the ball and killed all the fun. Now the ball just slices all over the place. Too badfantasmic7
Nothing like the original
This used to be one of my favourite games to play when I was younger. I loved the comic style graphics and retro theme. I also really enjoyed fully customising my team name and kit. Such luxuries do not exist on this game anymore.
The gameplay is much more limited and vastly different. The only options are to shoot at the goal. Before, you could play the full game in POV. You could tackle, pass, shoot and save. Even the comic features and extra “story” have been removed from the game. There are no longer any jovial news reporters or player trades and packs. All there is are goals and advertisements.
This game was so fun and really felt nostalgic. Now, it’s a load of rubbish. It’s boring and nowhere near as good as it used to be.
Why? What caused Pik Pok to reverse such a wonderful game?
I downloaded it today because I missed the feeling of playing it as a kid. I have never been more disappointed. It makes childhood seem even further away now.Show lesscerys r

I love the game and I find it very nostalgic, however it seems to be a bit repetitive. I would love to play Flick Kick Football Legends again as the campaign mode always draws you in (even after so many years)3ll!3.02

Bad control
I have it still on my iPhone 5s. Such a nice game with easy kick control. Now after installing it on my iPhone 13 Pro, the game is awful. The kick control is out of control. The developer never replied to my emails regarding that problem. It’s a shame, you can’t even kick the ball straight, it will go to any direction. You don’t have control like before.Show lessYakuzach
Truly the worst update ever
I used to love this game. The mechanics were perfect, fun and quick to play, you could make some pretty cool shots. Then they updated the game and it’s unplayable. The flicking mechanic is totally different, mainly the sensitivity being way too high. You can’t control your shots at all, so there’s no nuance and the ball doesn’t always follow the direction you flicked. Every few weeks I check back hoping they’ve reverted to the original version, but for some reason they’ve kept the game in a worse state.Show lessThornak
