Not for everyone
This game has all the elements of a “build your town and attack your neighbors” sort of game. It’s like if an accountant were to design a game, sort of game.
A lot of folks seem to really enjoy it, so I don’t want to rain on everyone’s parade here. If you like text-heavy spreadsheets, this is probably the best gaming experience out there. It’s not my cup of tea, but many folks seem to have enjoyed this game quite a bit.

Best game ever if played Right
This is the greatest strategy game on the App Store of all time. Except if you don’t know how to play it, it can be one of the worst. The community is fantastic so just join an alliance and ask your allies for help and they will give you lots of help.
This game is not pay to win at all, and putting money into the game hardly helps at all. There is lots of strategy and diplomacy involved and the occasional war.
So in conclusion, get this game and join a strong alliance or its training wing, they’ll help you get Going in the game and even give you resources for growth.

Great game just one problem
This is a great game I love it but I can never get enough gold when you watch videos you only get two and fortresses and stuff cost thousands or gold it would be good if you increased the amount of gold you het from the videos.
Amazing Strategy Game
At first, this game seemed kinda confusing and not very self explanatory, and it is pretty involved, but it's also pretty easy to pick up and once you do it's awesome. It's not some high action quick thrill game that the App Store is full of. It's a strategy game in which you upgrade your castle(s) and build an army to get resources and conquer more castles.

I have been playing this game for about 5yrs on UK2 and I love and hate it in equal measure.
The main plus is if you work hard at building castles you can go far, but if you upset the wrong alliance you can lose lots of your hard work in a very short time.
The game producers have ruined this game by creating to many worlds and have massively diluted the player pool to such an extent that there aren’t enough players.

Good in the complex VoiceOver game
I am a voice over player and have played this game off and on for a few years. I had to quit about a year ago because there were so many bugs in VoiceOver mode that it was hard to play. However, I am really enjoying the game right now. I am still running iOS 10.3.3 and this current app version is really stable with it. Very good gameplay and it's a lot of fun. They've done a very very nice job fixing a lot of the Bugs for voice over users.

I love this game and have played it for 6 years.
This game is awesome addictive and doesn't require vast amounts of money.
But after an update 1 or 2 years ago, the graphics and textures have been changed.
Thing is, I really miss the old art of the game.
If there was one feature that I could recommend, it would be to be able to change the graphics in the settings, from new to old, or old to new, as the user pleases.
Other than that, the game is definitely something that I would recommend to anyone I know.

Please read before playing
Firstly I will say that this is a very enjoyable game. I love it.... however, I got quite far into the game and there was a clan who outnumbered my alliance massively. After spending a great time on this game to get where I got to, I was taken out within minutes by another team. (This is the downfall of the game). If someone attacks your base and sends silver with the attack, they then conquer your base and take it. I had 15 castles (to which 2 of the castles were a combination of 5 castles) and they were all conquered leaving me with nothing. All the time I spent on this game was wasted. If your planning on spending money... be careful.

Decent
Not a bad game. I just wish that the upgrade times and especially troop training times could be a bit faster. This game takes FOREVER to make any decent progress.
Also, I don't really have a good idea to change this, but I found that the really strong players have a complete advantage. I started playing this game years ago, but have had to restart multiple times because I got taken out by players who were much stronger than me. Twice I got steamrolled by a player as soon as my beginner protection wore off and once I actually made it to 5 castles but got wrecked by some guy who had like 50 of them...and he had been close to me the whole time b/c I spawned almost right next to him. Can't the weaker players be better separated from the stronger ones?
It's a really good game otherwise. The concept of having multiple castles is really cool. Imagine games like COC where you could have multiple villages. This game is the only one I know of it's kind that actually does that
