Simple and Works!
I can understand why this has only a 3 star rating. This is one of the first apps I downloaded and it's worked perfectly ever since. It's colorful, it has virtual [drum]sticks, and the notes sound perfect. You can hit each note individually and you can slide your finger up and down like a piano. My niece loves it. And since it's free, you can't go wrong!Show lessGAMESHARQ

I got this app for my toddler son. He loves it, and I like it most of the time It is simple, has a decent sound (better than most, if not all, of the piano and xylophone kids apps I've come across), and I love that the keys are big enough that they are easy to touch the key you want, not the one next to it. My only complaint it the ads. My son hits the ads often and then yells at the iPad because he gets frustrated that the xylophone went away. I would very, very happily pay a dollar or two for this app to not have the app, but there is no Pro version. It is a big enough issue for me that I very often dread my son asking if he can play it, and sometimes hide the app and encourage him towards other ones.Show lessMouseAnnie
Ads make it difficult
Great app & my one-year-old loves it. However, after using it a few times now a little ad comes on the bottom of the screen. As my daughter randomly touches the screen to play the xylophone, she keeps hitting the ad & it redirects to the ads page.Anne DaLuga

No sound
I have a 32gig 3G iPad and my daughter has a 64gig 3G one. I have removed and reloaded the app but I still can't get any sound from the xylophone. And neither can my daughter. On the other hand, my husband has a 16gig one and it works fine.

Get rid of the ads...
Bought this thinking it would be good for my 13 month old. She keeps hitting the ads since they are right where she holds it. Then she gets upset that the game is gone. Get rid of the ads and it would be 5 stars.Chicky76
Simple app and fun
Good sound and simple to use. Could be better if you could swap notes and have sharps and flats but still goodalterknita
Great for young kids
This only does one thing but it does it well. When my 1 year-old sees her older brother playing with my phone and wants a go I start this up. And it still works when she holds the phone with her fingers on the screen.C M
