Crappy app
I can't believe the reviews. No way could someone have used this app to measure the area of their house or the dimensions of their lot. The app can't accurately measure a length under 40 feet!! Works ok for longer distances such as measuring the length of a city block or greater .JayCanuck99

Great app!
I love it! What I like about this app is that it leaves the screen uncluttered. The crosshair is vey helpful when dropping pins, and just by placing the finger into the centre of the cross and holding down for a second or so, the job is done! There is a measure of the distance between the pins and the total perimeter and area, imperial or metric.
The measured area has a transparent colour blue, which can be turned off, in which case only the perimeter is shown.
Instead of using the screenshot, there is a built in function to save the measurements into the camera roll, so that only the informations really needed are saved.... What else can I say?
I would definitely recommend this app if you are looking for a neat and efficient measuring tool..
The only down side is that the app only works on Google Maps... Being able to use also Bing would be a real bonus in some cases...Show lessfab-ster
