Amazing!
Just as I was about to BUY Ultimate Guitars version of this app, I thought might as well give this one a try! Best tuner ever! It's very accurate and has great features. In fact when I used it the other day to tune my friends guitar it worked better than an actual tuner he had bought from the local music store. I recommend this app to all!

In theory, a great app - in practice, a broken string!
I wish there was an app just like this that actually WORKS! There is far to much lag to actually use the needle to tune, I instead compared the registered/desired frequencies available in the top left and right of the screen.
The app frequently fails to register sound, resulting in many failed attempts and a much longer tuning time. Also, it often arbitrarily hates a certain string - for the past few days for me it had been G. As a beginner, I can't yet tune by ear, and trusting the app when it said I was 20Hz to low resulted in a snapped G for me! Suffice to say, I'm not very impressed.
If Epic Tune at some point in the future decides to work, or another developer releases an app along the similar GarageBand tuner theme, it would be a dream - until then, I'm going to try a lot harder to learn to tune by ear.

Great!
It works very well! When i put it on standard i had a hard time, though, before i got the strings closer to accurate in any note mode. Worked after that though.
Don't do it
The features seem tempting (multiple tunings with every string available) but the actual tuner is so terrible you can't even use it. It won't stop jumping to notes that aren't relevant even when I know my e string is only a couple cents off, as if it's picking up every ambient noise in the room. Yet it won't acknowledge that I've tuned a string up or down; it just keeps telling me that it's still "15 cents" flat after I after I give the key a flipping half turn. Terrible app

Great Find!
I was looking for a free tuner so I could tune my guitar and violin. After finding many crappy free tuners and a bunch of paid ones that I was unwilling to buy, I came across this one, which is free and gets the job done, so I can't complain! It is a little hard to tune something in a noisy environment, but it is pretty accurate and IT'S FREE!

Seems very slow to react but, better than nothing? I give it more than one star because it's free.
Good for a free tuning App
I have been using this on the iPhone 3GS with it's mic in a quiet room to tune a strat and it works okay. It some times has trouble detecting the low notes but otherwise does fine.
The best part about the app is not having to hunt for my korg tuner since I can instead use my phone.

Reliable
My other tuner app decided to stop working, so I randomly downloaded this one for a try. Works perfectly and I can even use it outside on my deck. Does what it is supposed to. Thank you!
