Originally, the indoor sport was invented in the New England region of America and it took the characteristics from the parent games tennis, handball and basketball that were in their evolution phases at that time. The game is played between the two teams with six players in each team, with six special skills. The rules of the game underwent refinements over the period and the game got popularity in various other nations.
