  • This is AWESOME if you are learning to play by ear

You can import songs in many ways, from many sources. it allows you to pick a tough section and loop it over and over until you get it! It seems to keep the pitch fairly true when you change the speeds. And i just gradually increase the speed each run through. It has really helped my practice time. Get it.

  • Great learning tool

This has been a tremendous app to help my son practice for his ABRSM Music exam.
  • Awesomeness!!!!!!

I have nothing but praise for this app! Not once has it crashed on me or given me any kind of hassle. There is only one upgrade I would suggest. I use GarageBand a lot and being able to export to GarageBand would be so awesome! I like taking instrumentals and recording my vocals on them and this added feature would be once again, awesome!

  • Helpful app

Works well most of the time.
  • Perfect!

This is the perfect app for choreographers. Thank you for all of your hard work! 5 stars!
  • COME ON!

FIX THE STARTUP CRASHES GOSH DARN IT!!! I CANNOT ACCESS THE APP SINCE TODAY'S UPDATE!!! Zero stars until fixed! Afterwards, I will return your five stars.
And I want to view album artwork while in the playback screen. Looking at those squiggly volume things is getting dull.
Please! I am upset that I can no longer access the app! :'(

  • Previous issues sorted... this app is the one

I use this app for practicing music to. So I need an app that can go back to the start of a chorus, change key in half key steps, slow down, jog quickly, etc. In this version the audio quality is much improved when its slowed and the caching of the library has been eliminated. That makes it pretty much the best app in the store of this type, with no downsides any more.

If I was to ask them to change something now, I'd say give us Pro users the HQ audio too?!? I've listened to the first 15 seconds of many songs slowed down in HQ, and even in HD-280 headphones it sounds different but not particularly better so I'm not paying for the 'upgrade'.

Oh and maybe allow a variable cache size - it would be good to not have to load songs from 'fresh' so often, though it starts playing before it's loaded and does still remember marks, etc.

  • Great aid for guitar practice

I use this with ampkit and music from guitar learning books to allow me to practice at my own speed and gradually speed up as my own playing improves. Love the bookmarks and looping features!
  • Ok for the price.

If you transcribe only occasionally or you only need it to slow down to not more than about 80% of normal speed then you may find it useful. However if you need slower speed than that then sound quality in Anytune is seriously affected - warbled and choppy. To the point when picking individual notes by ear becomes iffy. By comparison app like Capo does not suffer such sound quality degradation - you can easily go to 50% of original speed without much of a flutter or warble. Also Anytune seems to add some artifacts (extra notes) to the phrase that is looped. There some nice touches to interface in Anytune eg inserting short pause before looping again and I am looking forward to improvement in sound quality but for now I will stick with Capo.

  • Sound Quality Could Be Better

This app is just OK. I compared it to the Amazing Slow Downer app that does the same thing and the sound quality at slower speeds in that app was much better.
