This is really a nice application. I was looking for something like this so I can use it with my Ludlum 3 survey meter with 44-9 pancake probe. Anyways, I have an iPad and I run the Application scaled x2 and it works fine. I put the speaker pointing on the unimorph speaker on my ludlum 3. Turn on and its counting.
I get very accurate CPM counts and it seems background noise does not seem to bother so far. I have done several experiments. It really will allow you to pick up things that will generate slightly above background. My home background over a decent time averaged 31 cpm. I put in a small figurine of uranium glass at quite a distance (few feet) and it registered a 50% above background to about 45 cpm.
Such a thing would not be easy to do or time consuming otherwise.
Looking forward for new features, please make a pro edition and its worth making it a pay app, something with graphing etc.. cool stuff a universal ipad/iphone edition. You deserve to be compensated for this work with a pro app.
