For those of us whose memory cannot summon up directions for hundreds of dances, this is a great help.

I purchased the program after seeing a well-known ECD caller using it. He described the program with pleasure and added a comment along the lines of, "It's the best thing for English country dance since set and turn single."

It does take a while to set up, but hey, you're importing vast quantities of information, a spreadsheet of dances plus dance directions and, if you want 'em, music notation as well. The program does NOT come with dance information pre-loaded; it provided a structure to keep track of everything, not the content itself.

Once information is loaded onto your iPad, you're good to go. No more lugging notebooks or piles of paper with you to a gig because you want to have backups just in case. You make up your program ahead of time and have all the information there at your fingertips. Want to substitute dance? Easy to do on the fly. Looking for a 3-couple dance in Em? A quick and easy search turns up Trip to Tunbridge.

The several times I had questions, I send an e-mail using the handy link and had a reply from the program's creator within a few hours. Now, THAT is customer service!

P.S. A friend is busily loading squares and contras into her iPad with this program.
