This app works!
The app is legit and I got great seats and saved on the show I attended. However, obtaining the discount is a bit confusing. Some of the shows are through ticket master while others are through the app.
Great, needs more work
This app is amazing!! Helps get a discount on shows and all, however it's full of bugs: can't go back to the main menu, sometimes slow when switching screens, the email sharing option is a joke! But it's still nice to look through the hundreds if deals available.
The Best Man
Called Broadway Box for tickets four hours prior for Sat Matinee. Quickly got through , fast & courteous service & exactly the seats I wanted @ 35 percent discount... Great service, will definitely call again...
TO GOOD, SO YOU THINK THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING WRONG
We were in NYC for two weeks awaiting the birth of our first Grandbaby and of course had made no plans so we decided to see a few shows. I was not going to pay box office prices and didn't want to go to HotTix. I found the Broadway Box App for my iPad and that was it. Not only did we get a selection of current shows ( except Book of Morman ) but it gave us the ability to keep refreshing until we found the seats that we liked best. However, for us, the BEST feature was being able to use our AMEX Reward Points for full payment. We eventually saw three shows and had excellent seats at all. We arrived 15 minutes before show time, walked up to the will call window, claimed the tickets and that was all there was to it. Give it a try, you'll love it.

App doesn't work
App doesn't load properly. I keep getting a blank page that does nothing, you can't search or look at anything.

Great discount info
Provides easy access to what discounts are available. Tried to buy tix on the app a few months ago but it sold them at the full, not discounted, price. I called and they refunded the purchase without question. Since then I use the app for info, but buy on the website. Not willing yet to trust the app for purchase. That's why it gets four, not five, stars.

Broadway box app
Broadway box is wonderful, allows me to see plays at reasonable prices. If one is familiar with actors, play writers and or directors, it gives a theater goer the option of seeing great theater at great prices. I use it a great deal to see plays in preview. I check the app often and also check my emails.

Great except it gets stuck
I love this app because it tells me all about great discounts...better than others that come my way!
HOWEVER when I forward the info by email it gets stuck (after sending, it stays and the cancel button wont work) and I have to restart my iPhone to get it back to home page... What's up with that?
