Was hoping for better.
So first the good. Fully configurable. Gives you a log of the the output so you can double check if you missed anything before resolution. Does a good job of implementing the actual sound and feel of the tracks. And now for the reasons I prefer just using the soundtracks. The configuration works, technically. It gives way too many serious threats, and too few threats, on average. I cannot play it without leaving the phone screen on, with the app open. Of course I can put the phone face down if I don't want to see it, but it's not ideal. When the sound track finishes, there is another voice that comes in and starts to walk you through resolution. I couldn't figure out how to turn that off or get it to shut up short of closing the app, which was annoying because I then lost the benefit of having the log to double check. And the worst part: It doesn't save any of my configuration. If I want to run back the default settings (which by the way don't precisely map to actual settings in the game) it's fine, otherwise I have to manually turn every knob every single time I use the app. Not letting me save different configurations is a bummer. Not even remembering my most recent configuration is inexcusable. I'll re-download this in a pinch, when I don't have access to the sound tracks, but I can't give it more than 3 stars.physicssquirrel

If you play "Space Alert" you'll want/love this app!
Not only does it generate custom random missions, but it also walks you thru the resolution phase!
