Fantastic JRPG

Much like Dragon Quest! Every few years, I pick this series up and play through all 3 games. Easier now that the trilogy is in one app! Just finished another play through. Were there more games in Japanese? I wish we could have more in English!

Awesome game!!!

Surprisingly โ€œVery Good!!!โ€

Dragon Quest-ish

3 games that are fun to begin with but get SUPER tedious about halfway through. That said, I did finish them, and I would pay for the later titles in the series if they were ported to iOS. The concepts are right on and Iโ€™m sure the series continued to improve.

Can u pls update this game

I really want to play this game again so can u pls update pls

Awesome Dragon Quest-style RPG :D

This game actually looks and works so much like early Dragon Quest games that it may be correct to call it a Dragon Quest clone, but if it is one, it is a good one. :)

A lot of the player's time will be spent exploring the massive world map, and it takes quite an effort to find your way from place to place even early on. This may not be for everyone in that regard, but me, I like it. :) In fact, the player has enough freedom to explore that often the only thing keeping you from a further region is party level & equipment.

My only issue with this game is the graphical glitches that sometimes arise while moving around. I have to remove the game from active memory to remedy this.

But I enjoy and love this game. :) It even has a bit of humor. I would happily buy and play the English-language versions of Gailardia 2&3 if the developer hadn't asked new players not to.

Classic RPG heaven!!

Awesome game! I grew up on Dragon Warrior and this game brought back memories!! Hours of RPG levelling and upgrades!

Love it~!

Please Please Please translated more Gailardia games in English. =D
I had a load of fun playing this homage of classic JRPG games. Being a big fan of the Dragon Quest series. Thank you~! ^_^

Highly Recommend

Outstanding turn based old school RPG. If you loved the 8 bit Dragon Warriors and Final Fantasy, this is a game for you.

Awesome!!!

Really good old style rpg!!

Pretty good turn-based RPG

It is Very reminiscent of the old Dragon Quest/Warrior games on the old Nintendo which I see as a good thing, but if you didn't like those, you probably won't like this either. I'd like to give the game 5 stars, but there are some issues. It occasionally glitches graphically. A save and restart fixes the problem but it happens fairly often. It can be hard to figure out what to do next, especially after getting the boat. The "hints" from the townsfolk aren't that useful and there's some dialog that doesn't make any sense (probably translation errors). I'm a little torn on this because I don't really want it completely spelled out, but a little more direction might be nice and it's not that clear which of the townsfolk's issues are things you can actually affect and which are just for added interest (I'm looking at you, Sally and Wood). It also requires a LOT of grinding. Again, this is how the old school JRPGs worked, but nowadays I'd prefer to actually do stuff while killing monsters.
