Description of Hope from the Proverbs
This App gives you hope, wisdom, and understanding!
You may view the selection of about 280 sayings one after the other, or you can browse them as a collection. Take them along and let them serve you as a light snack.
1000 years before Christ, King Salomon put these words in writing. And today, 3000 years later, they have not lost one single bit of their significance.
Most of the listed verses follow the straightforward, down-to-earth diction of the Luther Bible 1984, Chinese Union Version (CUVS), English Standard Version 2001, Louis Segond, Hindi Bible (Easy-to-Read Version), Japanese Bible (Kougo-yaku) 1954, Korean Bible, Biblia Sagrada (Nova Versão InternacionaI), Russian Synodal Version, and Reina-Valera 1995. Where of help in respect to easier legibility, I have made minor changes related to punctuation and notation.
