Mobile Data version 10.2 adds a new Search and Filter function to display data in selected project Session List Columns. This Search function will assist users of projects that may have hundreds of sessions. A new 'Crossdata point' in version 10.2 displays a drop list of other sessions on the mobile device, allowing one of these to be picked. It then imports pre-selected data points from the picked session into the current session. The new Crossdata point can be a big time saver where otherwise a user may need to retype shared data.

Mobile Data for iOS is a key mobile client component of Mobile Data Studio (MDS) supplied by CreativityCorp since 2001. New Mobile Data for iOS is compatible with iOS 14 plus. Mobile Data for iOS version 10 supports wireless communication via a new 'MDS Cloud Relay', for simplicity of setup and security. New functions of points and projects include Barcode point capturing 13 types of barcode; Contacts point; enhanced Print point for email of PDF reports; File point to transport files to and from iPhone and iPad. iOS mobile devices can provide live information to the MDS server on the number of active sessions by project on devices, assisting in allocation of tasks to users in the field. Operations between iOS Mobile Data and the MDS server side are enhanced by Data Script for automation of many processes; including Telegrams between mobile devices and MDS server. side.

Description of Mobile Data

Mobile Data for iPhone and iPad enables data collection to improve productivity in business and government. Mobile Data client connects to Mobile Data Studio, an integrated mobile project design studio, powerful wireless client and server, and data management system. Programming skills are not required to develop projects in Mobile Data Studio (MDS). Mobile Data projects are developed in Mobile Data Studio by a simple 'drag and drop' process. Three example projects are provided here in Mobile Data: * 'Track Assets' in the field using GPS and camera images, and record the operational status of the assets; * 'Field Service Report' to deploy, manage and record repair and maintenance of plant and equipment. Add parts and prices for service in the field, using Mobile Data Studio; Dynamic Data function can manage thousands of parts; and * 'Office Workstation' to assess the ergonomics and safety of computer workstations; each assessment point is supported by guidance notes for informed and consistent assessments.
