Play tested well
Just the right amount of difficulty given the controls (it's hard to be exact with any iPod control scheme). This works well with the tilt controls.
I was able to finish the game in 2 or 3 (seriously don't recall which) days, playing many hours a day.
Overall most amount of fun playing any game on my iPod. Period.
I wrote a Palm OS game, Bubble Ship Boy before as well, and the mechanical sharks reminded me of the mechanized shark enemies in my own game. So that made playing even cooler. I also had cutscenes in my game but they were hand drawn art (good hand drawn art though) these pixel art cutscene graphics were the bomb!!! Awesome.
Kudos!
Cheers!

Fun to play with my iCade controller
I feel like I'm actually in an arcade with my joystick and shooter buttons - haven't even tried the tilt yet! Hooray for 1983, its back!
Lots of fun!
Tilting action is cool to use and works really well in this game. Addictive and fun to play, I only wish there were 100 levels instead of just 20
Goofy, old school fun.
Plot? Maybe... Graphics? Eeeh, kinda. Old school blow up he aliens kinda fun, most definitely. This game is not one that will have you awake at night figuring out the twist, instead this is 25 cents (or 50 if you had to play at a mall) of shoot the alien till your health runs out, and that's SO just fine.

Fun game
Enjoyed the game wish there were more than 20 levels.
more content
we need more content to be honest, great game
Very nice
Great concept and graphics. Not a fan of tilt controls but well executed here. Id still use left and right buttons if they added the option. Worth a dollar for sure
Great, but wears thin
I too usually hate tilt controls, but here they did a good job! I really like all the art and animation and play, but it just really started to feel repetitive to me after a while (few hours maybe). That's more just me though.
Tasty pixeltastic addiction
This game made me want to build a biomechanical transcendence device that would allow to cross realms into the work that of The Almighty Velocispider! I need more levels to conquer! Great job!
Keeps it simple
Great game for the price. A throwback to 16-bit graphics and chiptunes, with the supple accelerometer controls for the modern age. The inane "story" will remind you of the bizarre mythologies of an earlier age of gaming. Looking back, does Rygar make any sense at all? Did you care? Of course not. Relax, dodge bullets, remember enemy patterns and protect those eggs!
