Impressive
This app is exceptional. Thank you developer for making such a useful picture search product. My only suggestion is if it can do mass image downloading. I'd like it where I type in a a search category, it lists options based on sources an I can download them and sort the rest later in my image folder.Show lessMadeInAmerica_ByRobots
Picture search
This is by far the best pic finder app out there. You have lots of choices from google to tumblr to Wordpress. Plus they are good at responding with fixes. Just wish they could fix the frequent crashes. Still I use this app almost every day.Mac's@

I'm very satisfied with this app. It does what it claims, and I'm never disappointed with the results of my searches. I like that it provides the option to select from among many well-known and respected sources, such as Bing, Google, Picasa, Flickr, to name some. Best of its type but...
picTrove is one of the best image gathering Apps in the store. Even so, it still is pretty buggy. The App crashes a lot and will only download the first 1,000 images after that the "Load more" button doesnt function anymore. It also has errors with the slide show feature. If you pause the slide show for any length of time when you start it again it flashes through any of the pictures it would have shown you (during the pause) in a flash of a second. Another bug is that it will swipe past pictures and refuse to stop on one particular image at random times. Wait for an update cause with all this, its too frustrating to use!!!Show lessDave804
Nearly Perfect - Best App on my iPad
I used to use another app to find images on the Internet, but they went social and ruined that other app.
Usually only need to look for pix not video. PicTrove is IT. Just discovered it recently. Entertaining at the same time.

I just downloaded today & only did a couple searches but it's exactly I wanted! No problems do far- as per a previous comment: there IS a way to delete saved searches...under "Manage Search Terms" & also "Browse Downloaded"...Flyin indigent
Loved it. Used it often until now. BUT...

Since name change update things were a little better in that while the app still crashed it would work on reopening with a reinstall. That is until today... Now I'm back to delete and reinstall after every use. Simply rebooting does nothing to fix the issue. The only thing I can see is different is rather than having 3GB free space I only have about 1.8GB free which shouldn't matter but maybe it does. Ugh.

I have reported the issue-- several times now over all of the pixellent search apps. I get very nice replies BUT they have fixed nothing. It's been months.
I have to delete and reinstall after almost every use because if I don't the app will not load. When I say almost every, I mean like 99% of the time.
It's annoying and frustrating. For an app they charge $7, I'd expect more effort to resolve the issue. Sadly, it's not just this app it's All of them.

Before this most recent update, Google Image Search was extremely buggy, loading multiple upon multiple of the same photos. Even then I found the app extremely useful. But now with this latest update you have fixed this bug and I couldn't be more delighted. This alone would make this my go- to image search app. And now that you've added editing capability through Aviary, combined with the ability to transfer images to other photo editing apps, you have exceeded my wildest expectations. DON'T UPDATE!
I see there is another update. Video search still gone (I think forever now). How is making the app smaller a feature? YOU REMOVED HALF THE FEATURES, OF COURSE THE APP WILL GET SMALLER. And yes I still have not updated lol.
DON'T UPDATE! All video services will be removed. Not sure what the "technical issues" are, they work fine for me. 2 stars because it is still good search tool for images. Video search REMOVED!
Just like as others, video search worked just fine, with no crashes at all, so dunno what technical issues developers refers to. Sadly, half the fun is gone.
Search history management has been removed to (it was possible to clear search history but not anymore), and history IS NOT something you always want to keep.
Hopefully, those features would comeback soon, by popular acclamation! I'll update this review when it happens.Show lessT.A.V.O
