  • Very Nice

I will have to agree with the other reviews. This app is very responsive to writing and or drawing. Very very close to actual pen and paper. It has several different thicknesses for the pen and highlighter feature and an array of colors for both. Very useful and practical for capturing your handwriting and using the email function. No more pen and paper, just what I need for my iPad.

  • Almost perfect

And will be perfect if add Redo & Rearrange note order function.

    Thumbs-up!
  • Love it.

The latest upgrade to a memo app I was using proved to be a disaster. I needed a new quick fun app for lists, memos, etc. Jotter is it! It's not trying to be anything other than a cool, helpful notepad that's simple to use for quick thoughts and sketches. The finger writing interface is smooth and versatile. The handwriting matches your own and you have a selection of paper backgrounds too. You can also add photos. Love it.

  • Great for notes!

This app lets you write using your finger or stylus. Works great for a touch typist without an external keyboard. I use it to take meeting notes that I later type up, so now I'm killing fewer trees. It's also easy to erase mistakes and stray marks.

Great app. Would be nice to have pages extend past one screen or a folder option so you can organize the notes. Would also be nice if there was an option to name the note.
  • Superb app for hand-written notes!

I was using Jot and, though that's a very good competing app, I moved to this app for two reason:
    1) Faster startup to new note. Overall speedier.
    2) The magnifier feature: a beautifully implemented feature that allow you, if needed, to cram quite a bit into a note.

Many hand writing note apps go to far in features and clutter their apps with excess. The dev of this app has been both restrained and focused in creating an app you can get in and out of quickly without a fuss. A real winner, imo.

  • Great for a brief note

A good app to quickly jot a short note. Like the different color and pen thickness options. Very responsive and easy to use. Just wish the note screen would scroll/expand. It's difficult to fit everything in a small area especially on an iPhone screen.
  • Yaays

Finally found something that doesNOT lag! Cheap too! Works great for all my college classes. (Even makes my crapy drawing skills look a little more professional).
  • Perfect app for spontaneous thoughts

My memory is not what it used to be so I need to write things down immediately before I forget. I can quickly scribble appointments, flash ideas and thoughts, reminders, lists, etc. If needed, I can transcribe them later to my calendar, grocery list, etc. when I get time. I use a stylus to aid in smooth writing, but works well with just my finger also. Thank you for a wonderful app!

  • Wow what a wonderful app

I just got my Adonit Jot pro stylus today and was on the hunt for an iPhone app that I could use for quick notes. I tried out many of the free 'trial' type offerings and started to worry that not enough effort has been put into this type of app for the reason of it being a capacitive screen and not well suited to stylus writing. This app has, however, blown me away. It is JUST what I wanted. The zoom edit mode works flawlessly and auto advances as you write. At first it was a little quick to advance, but on looking there is a setting to slow it fractionally till it suites you. This kind of thought and detail sets the developer(s) apart. Fantastic work!
