Pretty but unusable as an adult
I don't get it. Maybe most of the good reviews are by parents. I bought this thinking it would be a relaxing, fun thing to do a few minutes a day. But the only thing adult fingers can do is fill areas with the tools. There is absolutely no way to "color" and stay in the lines. It's a mess. The pictures are simply too small. And as many people have mentioned, there's mo way to make them bigger. I wish I hadn't spent the money on this.

Almost perfect for iPad
New version:
Great improvements: getting rid of Monster Bucks and unlocking content, and the new expanded color palette. The new colors give this app much more depth and possibility than others like it, and keep adults and kids engaged longer.
Pinch & zoom would be a great improvement, and make this app functional on the iPhone.
Old version:
Nice monsters and color palette, but UI buttons get in the way on both iPhone and iPad. Overall the UI is too much in the foreground, especially for a kids app. The Monster Bucks thing is maybe ok for older kids, but beyond younger kids and annoying for adults too. On the iPhone it is impossible to color some of the smaller details accurately for either adults or kids. Overall not as streamlined an app as Super Why coloring book.

Too small on iPhone
This looks great and I can imagine it'd be ideal for the iPad, but having bought the app, I was disappointed to find that several elements of the interface (eg. stickers cheat sheet) are way too small for the iPhone.

Took awhile to figure out. Pretty fun though! It's hard to fill colour into the very small areas. Monsters are cute. Wish there were more colors and patterns.
