Needs more work
Yes it's great to have the taxi card but this app is missing some really important places. I think it is local content translated as opposed to someone crafting listings for Expat.
It lists the Panda Hotel but missing the Peninsula Hotel.
It lacks all the theaters. The Academy for Performing Arts, The Fringe Club, the a Arts Centre. Please at least get the LCSD stuff in here.Show lessXieXie2
A Must Have when in Hong Kong
Essential App if you are leaving in HK / visiting HK.

There has to be a better app
I confused this app with a really good one that shows you how to say the street and that actually shows streets. Queens rd central is a major street in HK and doesn't even come up. I'm deleting this.gunzandmoses
Great start!
This a great start to a very useful app. My home and most places I go seem accurate. Since this is an app for people who don't speak Cantonese, perhaps you can add something within the app where one can ask you to add a place to your database? For example, you are missing some major places such as: Lee Theatre, and Leighton Centre, to name a few...I also found some of the hotels filed under "T" for "The". Luckily I used the search! :-)Show lessVrji

Useful and fun app. Guildford Road and Mansfield Road are both missing, among others. Update it and it will be great.Leidow
Great App
I've found this app to be very helpful. A lot easier than trying to point to the street or building in Google maps or remembering to bring that little taxi translator book they sell at Dymocks.
I have noticed a bunch of locations are not yet in the database, such as the international/ESF schools or the various sports and recreation clubs. Even a few fairly popular streets aren't included. Hope these will be included in the next update.

I've Wanted This For Years
I always try to know the Cantonese names of the places I'm going to but very often the taxi drivers have problems understanding my terrible accent. Yes, it's true it's not complete but there's plenty here to start with an apparently they update the database from time to time. Each time I've shown the taxi card to a driver he's been impressed and instantly understood where I wanted to go. For 99 cents it's well worth it.
