This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Removed text appearing besides some buttons.
Full support for taking images can be leveraged only through the iPhone's "Powerful " Camera App. Users are advised to access jewelry photos from within Photo Library.
Implemented minimum compatibility on iPhone 6.0, iPhone 6 plus and iOS 8.0. This is the last minor update after which, iGemology will be re-written for full adoption, compatibility and support for iOS 8.0.

NEW TO THIS VERSION ARE:
Weight Estimation on Princess Cut Diamonds now default to 70% depth and all the rest default 60% depth.
On entering required values and dismissing the keyboard, iGemology automatically calculate the results. No need for tapping "Estimate Weight" button.
Estimated Weight is then carried to the next function to determine Price/Carat Value together with the desired mark-up percentage.
User can also take photo of jewelry item in question with all relevant data described above.
Finally, user can print this data or send in an email and printed for documentation purposes.

New in Version 4.0:
- As requested, "Depth" automatically default to 70% when performing “Weight Calculations on Princess Cut Diamonds”. All others defaults to 60% depth for ideal proportion.
- Dismissing keyboard pressing “Done” button performs instantaneous calculation. No need to press “Estimate Weight”button.
- Users can now immediately determine Gem Retail Value by entering gem price/carat and desired mark-up percentage automatically populating “Total Value” field.
- Users can also take “Photo” of jewelry item and attached to an email to send to your client or yourself for printing and for documentation purposes.

Addition of;
1. Synthetics Corundum (Ruby & Sapphires) and
2. Synthetic Spinel of All Colors and Types in the Gem Reference Array.
"iGemology" can now print Gem entries through "Air Print" technology. Please note that you will need a compatible wireless printer.
Users can also, print the result of "Weight Estimation" function that can be attached into an appraisal report or to your records. Handy feature for documentation. Details of Diamonds or Gem's measurements and factors are automatically pre-populated.
Alternatively, you can email the same results from within your current task window. All details are pre-populated for your convenience. Just enter the appropriate address field, of course!
"IGemology 2.0.0" have an improved navigational features. From the "Gem Reference" window, you can immediately jump to "Weight Estimation section of either Diamonds or Colored Stones. No need to navigate back through the stacked of windows.
And if you're are so deep within the stack, just click the round blue "Home" button whenever you see one and it will take back home!

"iGemology" is a full featured professional application that assist Gem Trade Professionals & Gem Enthusiasts in weight estimation of a mounted gemstone(s), identification & evaluation of commonly encountered gems in the industry.
Programmed & designed by a verifiable Graduate Gemologist for Gem Trade Professionals and Gem Enthusiasts.
Colored Stones included are: Andalusite, Apatite, Benitoite, Beryl (Aquamarine, Heliodor, Morganite,and all Colored, Emerald both Syn & Natural), Chrysoberyl, Alexandrite, (Colored, Synthetic & Natural), Corundum (Blue Sapphire, Ruby and Fancy Sapphire, Pink Sapphire, etc. - both Natural & Synthetic), Diamonds Natural, Diopside, Garnet (Almandite, Andradite, Grossularite, Malaia, Pyrope, Rhodolite & Spessartite), Iolite, Peridot, Quartz (Amethyst & Citrine - no AGG yet), Sphene, Spinel Natural (No Synthetic yet), Spodumene (kunzite), Topaz, Tourmaline, Zoisite and Zircon.

In addition to 11 established Diamonds Cuts Array, Weight Estimator functions provides 14 "Established" Faceted Colored Stone Cuts with 60 combination Gem Species and Varieties, delivering a total of "840" Gem Counts without 'redundant' gem entries seen in other substandard application.
These can all be leveraged on your iOS devices. More gems will be added on subsequent updates.
Entering Length & Width values automatically populates Average Diameter or Average Width and Total Depth as well. Major convenience when working on Ideal, Excellent and Very Good Proportioned Gems
Gem Reference Section, provides quick Gem Info. If required, a detailed Physical and Optical Properties with Spectra Readings of commonly encountered Gems is tap away.
