Great app…but where is the next issue?
Much better interactivity than the US version, not to mention other Conde Nast apps like Wired and Vanity Fair…but shouldn't the next issue be available by now? And when will subscriptions start being offered?yellowhandman
Great app but need to upload new issues in time with hard copy issue
Great app designed for an iPad and great functionality. Also great extra features like video which make it better than the hard copy.
Would be good is new iPad version out at same time as hard copy though which appears to be out when looking on gq uk site but will definitely keep buying new issues!

Brilliant, with room for improvement.
Congratulations for the smashing app, it's truly wonderful. I'm a Brit living in Seattle, and am very grateful to be able to check in with the true style authority (everyone here is wearing crocs and fleece and lumberjack stuff...it's a lovely town but everyone looks dreadful).
Please would the developers consider a screen dimming feature such as iBooks features, so we can read without waking whoever is sleeping next to us...
Maybe issues could download in the background too...I had to sit and wait for this issue to d/load as opposed to be able to check mail while I waited.
I am absolutely delighted with this app. Bravo.

state of the art
If you really want to see what truly great digital publishing is about, then this is it. British GQ always was hipper and more insightful that the American version (remember their brilliant piece on Steve McQueen and Bullitt?), but this app takes fun to a whole new level.
The opening photo shoot and video of the top British model is like something out of the movie Blow-Up from the 1960s. Nobody understands women or American culture like these guys.
