i first found this game about 10 years ago when i was probably 12. it was fun to see all the unique dragons and try to collect them in my dragon park. there were way less dragons back then and less features like the rift and etc but it was one of my favorite games. i don’t even think there were light/dark dragons back then. my excitement when i first randomly bred a rainbow dragon is something i recall fondly. so now, fast forward a decade, i was so glad to see dragonvale still in the app store. i started playing again and it’s been just over 3 months and i have more than 300 dragons. i’m old and big brained now so i looked up breeding guides and other tips and tricks. so, now i am fully equipped to collect every dragon. i’ve enjoyed the events, galaxy breeding, rift mystery eggs, tolzar’s watching ads for gems system, and other new features in the game since coming back. the new dragons and player designed dragons are all pretty cool in my opinion and i’m grateful for DECA games keeping the vale lively since the torch was passed from backflip studios. i enjoy playing dragonvale as much as i did as a young sprout and i think it’s really one of the best breeding/collecting games of all time. dragonvale has kept a simple and achievable system alive even into the era of pay to win. all in all it’s just a huge throwback for me to simpler times. thanks dragonvale! and happy 13th anniversary!
