I enabled use my location and the location chosen is about 10 miles from me. I am wondering if the reason is as another reviewer stated? I appreciate the inclusion of Islamic and Jewish time markers, important for the prayer obligations of both groups.NaomiLeah613

Crashes... not Hindu friendly
The app is not Hindu friendly and assumes only Other religions pray at sunrise.

This would be my fave app ever, if only one thing...more sound alarm options. The one and only alarm sound ( unless you link to a playlist) is nowhere near loud or long enough to get my attention. It seems that would be easy update, if it happens 5 stars all the way!!!!TpaBelle
Spazzing app
Scrolls through all future dates. Can’t see anything because it starts with today and freaks out through — well I’ve seen as far as mid 2021 before I gave up on it. Pity. Wanted sunrise/set alarms.IllaraSilver

Hello, sorry you are having trouble. Would you please check that Animate! is turned off? It is the last setting on the settings page. With the Animate! setting turned on, DayTime simulates accelerated passage of time so you can see the sun move quickly during a simulated day or see the changing path of the sun and moon over the passing seasons. Loaded “Daytime”, made all optional purchases available, authorized use of full time location services. It promptly located my position as Houston, Texas, over 100 miles from my actual location, as well as incorrect longitude and latitude. Website given with purchase could not be found. Rebooted phone twice with same faulty results.

Yes, support was hard for me to find, but the response was excellent. The response by email was swift even though it was a Friday evening after hours. Not only that, the response was courteous, with detailed information/explanation which solved my issues with the longitude/latitude and Houston listed at the top of the display. All of the reasons and features that I selected the Daytime APP work well and the information displayed, is accurate for my exact location. The inaccurate longitude/latitude/location is merely a tag to determine time zone and has no bearing on calculations based on actual exact location. I think that information should be covered in the APP description; and I would prefer to not see the incorrect location/latitude/longitude regardless of reason, but it is just an inconvenience for me. Any negative rating points for that was eclipsed by the “outstanding customer service” that was immediate, courteous, and thorough.Show lessOblib
