Not very intuitive, or maybe just glitchy.
As soon as I opened the app for the first time, the shutter/camera button wouldn't work. I looked everywhere for a user guide (on the Lucky Clan site) and searched the FAQs to see what I was doing wrong. It wasn't me after all. I closed the app and opened it again and, "voila!" the button worked. But trust me, I was pretty frustrated and angry by that time. It did it again 10 minutes later. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come because this looks like a very powerful app, but if you can take the time to have a downloadable pdf for your ArtStudio app, then perhaps you should have one for Top Camera, too. I'm giving this a hopeful 3 stars, hoping it stops freezing. Otherwise, I'll be requesting a refund from the AppStore.Show lesshurokitty
Best app out of ALL my camera apps
Oh my gosh this camera app is amazing! I just ADORE the timer setting! Whenever I have to do a handstand or something, its just perfect! On my other camera apps, I have to get a person to hold the camera, but on this app ya don't! Oh and HDR is awesome! My app NEVER crashes! And that's cool that u can save them to ur Camera Roll! My FAVORITE part is the "Edit" part! I love the different effects! There are soo many! PLZ make more apps like this! I think u should! Other people who put 5 stars think so too. Almost unusable!
I've been using this app for a while and while this app has far more features than any other camera app out there, it is sluggish and crashes all the time! And what is this "updating database" EVERY time I open the app? It takes up to five minutes sometimes for this operation to run its course and clearly causes me to miss the moment I wanted to capture in the first place. Shouldn't that be the most important feature in a camera? The ability to capture the moment when it's happening?! I still just use the built in camera app because someone actually spent time making quality software that works. There are so many great features in this app but if I can't take a picture at all, I want my money back for this piece of garbage.

A must for telephoto lens
I just got the zoom lens attachment for the 4s and this is by far the best app for it. I tried camera+, sharp camera, hd camera and a few others but none came close to this. The focus with this app makes using the attachment easy compared to others. I even did some in focus shots without the tripod! Plus the video zoom is awesome. Turn off HDR and video zoom auto render and this app is very fast. With HDR and video zoom render on you may miss an important shot... That's why you turn it off. With the zoom lens attachment and this app I can know get true bokeh effect without post!!Show lessPhilly Balls
Real pro style camera
I shoot professional stills and video for a living. This is the best "real world" photo app I've found. Ability to adjust and apply changes before shooting is what real pros do. Don't really care for after effects, I want a good REAL photo to start with.

Five stars as always
I wish every iPhone dev was like this guy! Sylwester Los does an amazing job! He's added every feature that I've asked for (sound-activated shutter, focus and exposure locks) and has been faithful in making sure that they are done well. He doesn't just add the features, he makes sure that they are working right. It took a lot of wasted dollars and shots made with a plethora of subpar apps before I discovered this bundle of joy; I can't believe all the features the DEV put into this application! Not only will it replace the multitude of special effects apps you may have, but the high quality camera and gallery layout/sharing capabilities will keep you coming back for more. The DEV obviously has a passion for what he does and it shows in a well-made, seemingly honest application that doesn't have credit card pitfalls under the guise of more features. The best camera app I've used
I've used a bunch of camera apps on my 4s. This one is the best. It gives you many options and settings to control. The photos it takes are high quality. The functions work well. The post processing is extensive.
I especially enjoy I the HDR function and the post processing effects.

Prior to the update, I had experienced issues with long videos not loading. I installed the update and I had more issues, then eventually froze on me rendering the app useless. I deleted the app, as a last resort I downloaded the app again for a new install. I have not had one issue with the app since. I love it!!! But I did lose pics and videos as the functions didn't work prior to the reinstall.Show lessGamelover71

This is a top of the line app for taking pictures. Rich in features and functionality, this is the camera app that combines aspects from every other app out there in an easy to use interface. I love the manual HDR mode and the slow shutter options!
Some nice things to see in the future:
-Hue adjustments (more continuous and subtle than color effects)
-Visible histogram either while taking pictures or in the editor
-Some way to get rid of the 'purple' color I see when using slow shutter on sum (eg hue).
-perhaps multiple layering options in the editor.
- Not sure if possible but it would be awesome to take a high frame rate video >60fps. 😝
