A great self- explanatory app
Children in my classroom really enjoy using this app to take a sequence of photographic images with a self- generated explanation of the science concepts. It is easy to get start with this app. They were able to reframe and reflect their findings by reviewing their work.

I really enjoy making stop motion videos. I just wish stop motion studio pro was free.
Good highly recommend
This is really good for people who want to make stop motions. There are just some minor setbacks though that don’t always matter. There is a loud camera shutting sound and also for when you delete a picture. I have tried to see if I could turn it off but I can’t, if I put disable for camera shutting it still doesn’t stop the noise. And If you take a picture with the camera close to something it can turn pixel-like. Even though if you don’t have the paid version it still works very smoothly and well and if you don’t mind paying for the expansion your experience is vastly improved. I would highly recommend buying it. Thanks for this incredible app!

amazing and I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to make movies but my only complaint is that it takes up quite a lot of my battery...but that’s all. Great game, made some awesome animations. Bye to the people who read this whole thing OwO

Try again
Downloaded and instantly deleting. $8.99 to import photos I already took. I’m not trying to be a professional stop motion animator. I just wanted to try out a wee project I had the slight inclination to do this morning. “What you have an idea?! We can help, subscribe to our blah blah, pay us blah blah, we’ll make you rich and famous and heal the existential in your life” nah I’m good. Maybe a free trial could be handy. I’ll try a different app than this one. 🤙

It really sucks that we have to pay for one of the most crucial parts of stop motion. Theirs one thing their in the premium section of the app that shouldn’t be their it’s the editing I don’t want my rig to be showing and I’m not paying for it it should be in the free part of the app
Unneeded changed, and a new bug
I use this app all the time, but there was an update recently that makes voice overs a pain. Rather than giving you a 3,2,1 on screen like it used to, now there’s a flashing dot. I don’t like having to count each time the dot blinks and I can’t think of any reason it was implemented over the old version. Also the new update sets the FPS to 5 when you start a new movie, which isn’t that bad but is annoying to deal with compared to how it would just save the FPS you used on your last project. Finally there’s a new bug that’s been annoying me a lot, where the app automatically takes a photo whenever you delete the last photo of the project or at random when you open up camera mode. If there’s a way to change the setup back to the old version and if the bug is patched then this app would easily get 5 stars. Until then it’s a 3 for me

Good app but one thing
At first when I downloaded this app i was exited to do some Lego stop motion. When I first used it, it was great then after 3 days I wanted to get into doing stuff like this. I done a stop motion of a Harry potter and I wanted to do a scene when the owl is flying. I took it and then I saw the “editing” feature. I immediately clicked on it as I wanted to erase my hand (because I wanted to make it fly) and then I went on erase to get rid of my hands. Then it said “pay £4.99 to edit” So then it just looks terrible! I was angry that you can’t even erase anything! At least make the erasing option free and keep everything else at the same price. Yes, your probably wanting money because there are no ads but the reason of this app is TO make a stop motion, not pay lots of money just to get a simple feature that should be free. I would rather have fun on this app then spend money on an erase option. Yes, this app is very good but that one thing is the only reason I’m not giving this app a 5 star. It is a very good app and I have filmed a lot with this app.

Absolutely amazing app! But I have one issue…
This app has been absolutely great with satisfying my stop motion passion! I have been making many films with this app on my iPhone without a problem (i have an iPhone 8 and this app worked super smoothly on it so this app is good with older devices too) but when I downloaded this app on my iPad (which is the 7th generation iPad) I went to do a voice recording, but when it’s done none of the audio is playing! This happened as of writing this by the way. I checked that my microphone was allowed on the app, which it was, and my volume was all the way up. I had never faced this problem before, and it’s really a bummer because i was so excited to add audio to my film! Other than that, this app is amazing and I’ve never had a problem with it before this! But i do highly recommend!
