Great game but often unstable
Game crashes out far too regularly, especially after an upgrade.
Great game
Pump all your effort into getting resources as fast as possible. Build. Build. Build!!! This game is heaps of fun and highly addictive... Be warned.
Addictive fun!
Love the overall set-up: quests and resources and so on, and ranking your progress. Love Aurora of course (about time we saw some other pics, developers!). Don't like being told things I could do if only I bought some gold with real money...
Valor
This game is one of the greatest game ever created. This is also one of the best games I have certainly ever played.
Keep it up :)
Keep it up :)
Good, but too slow
This is a great game but it takes too long to build stuff, and there are too many barbarian cities.
Fantastic
Valor is a fantastic game particularly if you join a good guild and start expanding. Even going solo can be enjoyable, but to get the most out of the game you really need to join up with other players. The beginning stage of the game is slow going since you need to build up your first city, but I found that it was a useful opportunity to learn important technical aspects of the game. As you progress, the gameplay shifts more from learning the rules of the game to strategy. But even top tier players get humbled by less experienced players when they get sloppy or over confident with their top tier status.
Essentially, you get to play the game at your own pace, particularly if you understand the dynamic gameplay. So even during guild wars you can coast along if you plan for it.
My main criticism is that the game can be buggy, but PlayMesh seem to be committed to timeously ironing out the various random crashes, and their updates mostly result in appreciable improvements. Despite the issues, the game is marvellous, because it is so fun!

Cyber-bullying game really
I tried to play this for many months but cyber-bullying seems to be the order of the day...
#1: 3 days of beginner's protection don't seem to be enough - 5-7 days would be more called for.
#2: Hiding your troops in support or travel/battle activity is one thing but the problem is that whole regions of several worlds are dominated by powerful guilds and alliances and once they've spotted you - no matter where your troops are - the city's defenses alone are not enough, even when built to maximum, against repeated attacks from players over 20 times your own strength. What good is it that you get an incoming warning of impending doom when there is little, if anything, you can do about it.
#3: Depending on the region you're in, scholars & research take way too long to develop for the occasional player - even if you're online every other day it could take months and chances are high that by that time your city has been taken by hostile guilds surrounding you.
#4: The multitude of worlds is a problem and there seem to be many accounts which are dead and/or are bot-run...hence the worlds fill up fast and close quickly, usually at 54-58k inhabitants...so, say you want to play with a friend in the same region and one city gets taken, it is very difficult if not impossible to return to that world and region again. - Overall, play environment is just too hostile and only favors those who invest $$ and who are online daily.

Should be banned!
Very addictive game which is so entertaining it takes up far too much of my time, but who's complaining?
Tired Kiwi

Very basic
Pointless time sync. Everything takes a lifetime to build, which would be ok if the actual gameplay made up for it, but it doesn't. There is very little strategy involved, all you basically do is keep increasing your resources, build up an army and group up with other people to crush those a step behind you. Most people in the world don't actually play either, so there's thousands of empty towns separating you from everyone else making things take even longer. I tried to play this with a friend as well, except being 45 hours apart it was impossible. Game isn't much of a game

Don't get the upgrade....
Great game.... But.... The upgrade has meant that I have had to uninstall the HD version which crashed every time it loads..... And go back to the SD version.... With poor graphics and even that crashes way more than it used to..... Very hard to use ......
Also, don't be fooled with the Free app. To really survive in this game you need to buy 'gold' in game. It's actually cheaper to go out and buy a $100 game for whatever console u have.....
