  • Note-table app.

Nicely executed, proof that simple works.
  • Help please!

Help! Is there any way to turn off the new feature that means when I hit the " key, it places two sets of speech marks and my cursor between them. I touch type very quickly and had become accustomed to using the iwriter keyboard. Now my work is just covered in quotation marks and i keep having to stop and delete. :(

  • SUPERB FOR WRITERS! Really the BEST!

I already have pages and like it but, this is far superior. The keyboard is amazing...no changing for speech marks and apostrophes etc, so perfect as I write speech a lot. The layout is quite basic but I like this though wish there was a choice of fonts.
Work can be mailed or saved with other apps but I think the makers are in the process of adding folders, which will be a major addition.
Writing is auto saved ( superb ) I bought this app without reviews but thought I would try it as I bought the iPad2 mainly for writing so have to have something that is really user friendly and accessible. This is.
If you write, you will love it. If you want to write, you will write more because if the sheer simplicity of the layout and keyboard.
Also think a better intro page would be a good addition.
Needs some minor tweaking but overall a 5

  • ??

Very useful. Simple to use and no frills. Keyboard has key to move cursor and for a poor typist this is quick and a handy feature. For taking notes on the fly it's great.
  • Awesome App

I like this app always use this to write my messages and I enjoy how easy it is. Love it.
  • Nice and simple.

Great app to write with minimal distractions or fluff.
  • No Dropbox sync

Writing in the app is good and clear.

However, I mistakenly purchased the app expecting it to have full Dropbox integration which is not the case.

In order to keep your documents in order you have to import and then export back to Dropbox which is nuisance. The support was quick to respond to my reclamation though so it doesn't deserve a mere 1-star rating.

  • Class act

This is an excellent app whose simple design makes it easy to use and which therefore doesn't get in the way of its being put purposefully to work. I'd love to see it integrated with Evernote, adding complexity I know, but EN is another key app used by writers and students.
  • I wish it had real Dropbox syncing...

You can download files from Dropbox and copy files to Dropbox, but there's no automatic Dropbox syncing. If I knew that, I wouldn't have bought this app. I like the ability to edit the same text files from my iPhone and PC, so the iCloud syncing is useless to me. It's too bad, I really wanted to like this app because this app is gorgeous.

Since the 15 Aug 2013 "update," iPad has been trying to install, to no avail ... Cannot locate app to delete/reinstall .. What next, team?
