  • Try Cara instead

I can't use this now since I have the stoopid iOS 11 downgrade but I had to take screenshots to keep an ongoing log. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Happily I found Cara and have been able to keep a handle on things with it and Life Cycle (with creatively named "activities" meaning "GI distress" and numbering from 1-7). Poo Keeper is another straight forward log for just the GI part (you can add pictures!).

I hope all you IBS folks know about the Monash University IBS app too. That'll help you figure out you can eat lots of strawberries… if you're lucky.
  • Can only log present day

As soon as it hit 12, yesterdays log was gone and I couldn't find it anywhere. This app had was perfect, quick and simple while being detailed enough to be of benefit, but what's the use of a log that only saves the current day? There is none, I need to delete the app and hope I find something similar.
  • Can't add entries to previous day's log

Every time I try to add last night's dinner it adds it to the current day's log. Frustrating when I'm trying to figure out my IBS triggers.
  • Very useful, a couple of bumps

Thanks for this app. I've found it very useful! I am disappointed with the log in this new version (2.0). I like having the log with all the entries in cronological order with food, meds, symtoms & bm intermingled, but now it is hard to see much as it is right below all the buttons on the log screen. On my iPhone 4, I can barely see two entries. It would be nice to see the log on a single screen. Also, I cannot enter water in the past, it uses the current time always.
  • Editing features

Needs more editing feature. Like being able to edit foods, rating the severity of symptoms. Other then that this is a very useful app.
  • Great app!

Just what I was looking for! Would like a manual time stamp option. But I'm loving it so far!
  • Very comprehensive.

It is great to have so many features in one application. I had a monitor water app, a med reminder app, and a food journal and this combines them all in one. As well as many other features. It would be nice if a person could edit food intake for a previous day. Still trying to find out how to do that.
  • Almost

This would be a 5 star app if not for two issues

    1. It is near impossible to search for food properly. I just add my own to mark the time and use a fitness app for logging the actual food

    2. There seems to be a bug when it comes to logging stool. It always marks it as a 0 on the scale regardless of what is selected.
  • Very useful!!

I only use two apps for my Crohn's symptoms. This one and another called GIMonitor. They both track symptoms for me to then tell my GI doctor how my symptoms have been more accurately. I love the way this one tracks symptoms over the other. Plus this one tracks my water in take.
  • Pretty good

I stumbled across this app and have found it helpful for logging what foods are triggers for my reflux. The main issue I have with it is that it's difficult sometimes to log food. If you search for foods, for example "coffee," it gives you a long list of highly abbreviated possibilities which I can't find any way to expand (so I can read the complete description to make sure I'm logging the right thing.) some name brands are included and some aren't. Could use some improvements but overall a useful app.
