  • Excellent Organizer

I use this app to keep track of every character I run. It's so easy to find what you need at the moment, with the math taken into account. It does take some time to enter all the data, but I find that process makes me understand all the mechanics better.
  • Almost perfect

There is only one thing keeping me from giving this app a full 5-star rating and that's the lack of character import from DDI. Which is a shame because once you manually enter your characters, the app is so much better than all the other apps that do character import stuff. It's fast, has embedded dice rolling, is better at math (partly because you enter most values yourself so YMMV) and generally looks nicer and in my opinion has much more intuitive controls.

In other words, it is very nearly the perfect D&D app, and if you own the books and don't use DDI, it will likely be your perfect app.

  • Best DnD app. Period.

I have used every other app, fee and paid for. This is the best by far! D20 Fight Club was the app I was looking for when I first started looking for roleplaying apps. It's clean, looks great and is super customizable (which the D&D character builder can't claim). It's been so "no feats," but between custom powers, notes, applying custom mods, it's more than taken care of. Most importantly is that this app is so easy to use, so intuitive. I was able to make a level 1 Fighter in 15 minutes. Combined with the Compendium app (assuming you have D&D Insider) where you can copy the text from power before pasting them into D20 Fight Club, this app is clearly the best app out there.

  • Almost Perfect

I thought this app made playing a whole lot easier. There are a couple things that I would add though.

    1. All of the feats, powers, and abilities really shouldn't have to be typed in individually. If there was some way to have all the D&D classes loaded onto the system with all the respective classes and such, it would streamline Character creation.

    2. If a magic weapon is entered in that has a power added to it, that power should automatically update in the list of abilities.

  • Best DM app yet!

This app has turned our adventures from pencil to iPod! Never have I thought that I could sit around the living room (as if we were watching football) and play D&D so smoothly. This app has saved time, money and my sanity as a DM. One suggestion though, if people could upload any spells, feats, items and such they have typed
put, and make those accessible to app users, this app would be hands down, the best D&D app out. No questions.
Good job guys, keep up the great work!

  • In love

I'm in love with this app! It is beautiful and clean and easy to use. I previously had another review but I'm changing because I've used the app more now. I previously used i4e and the way you input characters between the two apps is radically different. I really like the way that you can include modifiers on almost everything so you don't have to remember them. Also powers can be "activated" which is super helpful for classes like wizards.

Then ONLY thing that I can't figure out is how to make is a ritual book. That being said I would, and will, recommend this app to anyone. It would probably be especially helpful for first time players or people who are bad at math, like me.

  • Feats feats and more feats

Like most, I life this app! Also like most, I agree it needs feats. Using the modifier is a workaround, but it means then having to activate another power when it would be nice if when activate your power it automatically activated the other because it is a feat. Also, when using a power that says, you spend a healing surge, it would be nice that you just had to activate that power, instead of activating that AND then clicking on your healing surges.

  • Worth the effort!

It takes a LONG time to input all the information for a character, but once you do, it makes playing them very easy. No more math! No more forgetting bonuses! I too would like to see feat support and more item slots, but the workarounds that are present work pretty good.
  • Amazing

While you have to enter all of the abilities by hand you are able to do amazing things with this app. Has all of the rolls per ability on each power from hit to damage. One upgrade I would like to see is the ability to sync your characters across the iPhone and ipad
  • D&D made easier

I am a fairly new player, and this app has really helped me get organised and keep up with the more experienced guys at the table. In fact, some of the folks in my campaign have dropped their paper character sheets and gotten this app. It's very useful. The only thing that could make it better is if the app could link up to the character builder. Entering everything manually can be a bit tedious. Other than that, really fantastic!
