A bit basic
Our daughter enjoyed this briefly, but it was pretty short lived. The animations are a bit jumpy and the quality of interaction is pretty basic.
The character is fun though - nicely conceived and a good choice of animal - kids love octopuses! A slightly missed opportunity however - a lot more could have been done to make it compelling for kids. Maybe development budgets were tight.
It isn't a learning game really - there aren't key learnings for kids to take out of it that I can see other than learning about touch screens.
A bolted on colouring book helps provide an alternative to the main linear activities but again, it's a bit basic and didn't hold our daughter's attention for that long.
So, it's OK for a short period of play :)

Timmy tickle
Cute. Great for 2-3 yr olds
Love Timmy!
Timmy Tickle is a sweet app for preschoolers. It is both a interactive story book and a coloring book, that relates to the story pages. There are many tasks to be completed with Timmy, such as activities of daily living - doing dishes and dressing up, counting, music - including instruction on playing songs on a xylophone, matching, and lastly saying goodnight. The narration and sounds are just right in pitch and tone, and offer encouragement to proceed. There are many play schemes that can be acted upon after reading and playing Timmy Tickle. I would recommend this to parents and clinicians for early learners.

A delightful app, beautiful graphics and colors, scope for a young child to explore and learn. Well done!
Great fun!
The only downside is that my 2 year old & 4 year old just about break the iPad in half struggling over who gets to help Timmy wash the dishes!
Timmy Tickle
My 3 year old Grandson absolutely loves this. We have a couple of dozen apps for him. This is his favourite and the one he always chooses first. More little stories and paintings please.
