As you might expect with a sniper themed game for an iPad this game is a simple touch the screen at the point where your target is to zoom in with a scope and then attempt to shoot your target quickly before a timer runs down. The stupid part comes in to it when you realise you're unable to move the scope once you've zoomed in. If you touched the screen just slightly away from the target's head or even their whole body you cannot do anything whatsoever about it unless you zoom out and try again. Also, there is an option to adjust the focus but the game doesn't have variable focus, everything is infinitely focused and you can not affect that in anyway because it isn't a feature of the game. In fact the 'focus' control is zoom control incorrectly named. It's also completely superfluous as you can zoom only to a minimal degree which confers no advantage especially as you can't move the scope. The extent to which you can zoom doesn't vary with weapon choice despite weapons having variable zoom levels in their statistics when you purchase them.
I can't help but feel that these problems are somehow because I've failed to notice some method of control that would allow the game to work properly but I sure can't see what else to do if so. I'm not an app developer and this WAS free but I can't help but wonder why anybody would make a sniper themed game but not include the ability to aim your weapon. It's a bit like a racing game where you can brake and accelerate, but you're not allowed to steer.
