  • Great app!

I really like this app quite a bit! Great for history students. I looked up the whole 'Simpson' controversy: according to Grant biographer Jean Edward Smith the congressman who wrote Grant's recommendation for West Point wrote his name as Ulysses S. Grant instead of Hiram Ulysses Grant, his actual name. The congressman assumed this because Grant's Mother's maiden name was Simpson. At no time, however, was Simpson officially or unofficially Grant's middle name. The app is correct, the 'S' stood for nothing.

  • I like it!

I do like this app I'll probably get the full version. But I have to say that the S in U. S. Grant's name stands for Simpson. Which was his mothers maiden name- his West Point paperwork got messed up and he was enrolled as Ulysses Simpson Grant- even though he was born Hiram Ulysses Grant. So they should fix that on the app. But other than that I really like it.

I loved it have a degree in history and thought the questions where great
  • Interesting game

I teach American history so I felt I was up to the challenge. An excellent game. I scored well, as I should. I will probably upgrade for the additional challenge.
  • My Opinion

A quick an interesting review. It would be better, I think, if it would provide some more explanation of the correct answer instead of offering a random quote on the answer page that comes up after you provide an answer.
  • Love this app!

Great for studying! Although it would be good if you could make the pictures correspond with the question. Other than that great app!
  • Civil war lite history challenge

This app has some very good qualities. The questions are easy enough that you don't have to be a history Major to enjoy it. It has easy instructions and is easy to play. It teaches as you play the game. The negative is that it doesn't score correctly. It always says 10/20 no matter what your score really was.

  • Pretty good

Better use of time when learning
  • A decent Beta

Great idea and some nice questions (but they could use some more variety). Also you should provide a reference to where answers can be found so your players can learn and we don't have to take your word on the answer.
The one thing I really disliked was the photos never had any correlation to the quotes after each question. If you are displaying a quote from Longstreet, you shouldn't have a picture of some one like Sherman, for example.

  • Good teaser for the full version.

Gives you just enough to tempt you up to the full version of the game. A good follow up to the WW2 history challenge game.
