Ruined a Perfect App
It’s used to be efficient and clean, all the scores were simpler to find and the black and white contrasted way better than blue and white, you can’t switch weeks while looking up a teams so if they’re on a bye you have get off the search bar switch and the week and then search again. This new app is poorly maintained and poorly designed, as of right now the entire chat is glitched where nobody can chat. Please developers take it back to the old version, you have no idea how many people stopped using this app because of how terrible the new version is.

Absolute garbage
I’m a software developer, so I understand why it’s important to make applications user friendly and intuitive. This app is neither of those. It’s just incredibly hard to navigate. I finally figured out how to pull up the schedule of a team but clicking on the games does nothing. Why would each game not link to the game details, and clicking any team name take you to the main screen for that team? It’s a complete mess. I would give it zero stars if possible.

Cut the drama, remove the chat
For one, scores and updates would probably be more efficient if there wasn’t so much data dedicated to the chat feature. That’s just my guess on the tech specs.
From a user perspective, the chat provides zero value. All it’s done is cause drama that has unfortunately at times spilled over into the gameplay at the stadium and the before/after interaction among fanbases. I cannot fathom why anyone would want it. Just let people update the scores (preferably verified by attendance, or at least GPS proximity), and update the district standings as soon as possible.
I do love being able to check any score in the state with relative ease on the go, but until the chat is removed my rating is one star. And looking at the ratio of one star ratings to all the others, it’s clear the fans want actual improvements besides “bug fixes”

Pushes missed
Complained about this in the past. Still not updated.... Miss having the push notifications that we’ve had in the past. PLEASE bring it back to make this app 5 star worthy!!!!!

Would be appreciated if there was a map to find close towns/districts as well if you’d like to follow those & add to your games followed. Another great benefit would be to see the countdown clock & scores updates in real time on the games followed rather than having to shut down the app & restart it. Used to be much better
This used to be streamlined and easy to view and find games. Now it’s clunky, doesn’t use the full screen, and I avoid using it. I can’t seem to search for teams or games easily anymore. Very frustrating. App needs a complete rebuild in 2023.

This app was great I could catch all the scores across the area that I’m interested in and see in the chat what people are saying about the game now Chad never works I can’t follow one district as a whole have to follow each individual team. The worst thing that could’ve ever happened to this app was when Dave Campbell took over

Very very frustrating app
The developers of this application don’t seem to understand what the users of this application want. The previous version of this app was liked by a majority of the users for over a decade. However, when the Dave Campbell outfit took over, some suit decided the app needed to change. When the change took place the immediate reaction from the users was that it was a poor change and the negative responses were numerous. The Dave Campbell people totally ignored the user input and continued with the new but extremely frustrating application which they are continuing but with even more frustrating issues. The app is so bad now that I will discontinue using it except to look at it every so often to see if the Dave Campbell people have made it usable. I would not rate this app even one star if possible. I have asked Apple to remove the app from the store. It’s that bad.

AWFUL
This new update is beyond awful. Save yourself some trouble and download Max Preps (I cannot believe it’s come to that). I used to love this app and would use it weekly to check recent and past scores. Now they’ve made it almost impossible to do that. It’s been real sad watching this once great app fall to pieces, but it’s hard to feel sympathy when the app creators don’t seem to care what their users think!!!

Nice but not Friendly
You have to add a different way to access team pages. The icon is barely clickable & I always end up at the game screen instead. Why don’t my followed teams screen have access to the team pages for their schedule?
App just needs some help, taking in community suggestions would be extremely helpful & I wouldn’t mind helping.

UI is terrible and there are much better alternatives
(2022) The UI is absolutely terrible, what used to be a good app is now poorly made and inconvenient to use. You have to scroll through whole conferences (ex 6A) to find a district, there are multiple bugs including times when the only way to fix the app is to uninstall it and redo everything. The moderators removed game chats which was the only thing setting this app apart from others. A much better alternative in SBLive covers all HS sports around the country, which is what I will be switching to.
