Excelent - food for thought !

Excelent - food for thought !

poor app

last update of the app is 2015
the one before is 2013

Handy reference

Useful when you are with your foreign friends and you are arguing about who has more debt!

Worth it for those debt intrested people

With real time it really impressed me from the first moment, and also good and funny comparisons (iraq war :D ) to simplify for those intrested on its cost per citizen, it has a great start for the app design and with more time based satistics such as the current income and expenses shown it would be awesome :) keep it up ! $€£¥

Hmmmm..!

So, if the U.S. National debt is equal to roughly 18.7 million villas, sell the villas and get us out of debt already, lol!

Great app

Helps in getting a better understanding of the global financial position. Four stars because the actual data lags by approximately 12 months.

Great app

Very neat app that gives extremely scary information about the world's economy.

Top of genre

I call these little interesting factoid apps "Trivial Pursuits" (and besides I helped beta the orig TP 'bored game' in Canada, so I am emotionally attached to the word). I have high expectation of interesting graphic design and an original treatment of familiar material and when these are met my scores range 3-5.But damn, everything is backwards with that respect here and it makes it top 3 factoid app imnsho. I know, right? Weird. Really valuable. Give it to your kid to play with. Topics like this only need to covertly sneak in to their subconscious now for the world to be a better place 10 yrs from now. Aaa act, sorry y'all, Joen Baez stole my iPad, and I can't erase this crap. Ding dong anyone?

Nice presentation

Easy to navigate. Don't know how accurate the figures are. Taiwan for some reason has replaced Uruguay in South America, and the island itself doesn't appear off the coast of China.
Still, a good quick information snapshot for comparing countries and what's happening to their debt.

Best App in this category

It has a very good interface; a debt map, and a list of the countries where you click on them and see the real-time debt clock for that country and debt per-person (just by dividing the debt by total population).
This app may not be 100% accurate always as it takes a fixated rate at the time the data was updated, but it is taken from official government sources, according to the app's information. Either way, the rate it is stuck on until it is updated later on still acts as an accurate debt-clock.

I highly recommend this if you want to be aware of the world's financial status.
