もぐもぐタウン is an educational food-themed game app where children collect food characters called 'Mogumin' by eating meals. By gathering these characters, players can grow and develop their virtual town. The app aims to make learning about nutrition and food fun and engaging for children.
By photographing meals, the app reveals the Mogumin characters hidden within the ingredients. This encourages children to try new foods and ingredients, including those they might be hesitant about, as a fun way to collect more characters. It provides a positive incentive to explore different tastes and textures.
Yes, もぐもぐタウン is a completely free app. There are no additional in-app purchases or hidden costs after installation. Players can enjoy all the features and content of the app until the end without any financial commitment.
The app offers fun quizzes and content related to nutrition and food facts, supervised by the Japan Sports Nutrition Association. It teaches children about the characteristics of different ingredients based on the three-color food group system and essential nutrients for growth. Seasonal ingredients and eco-friendly cooking tips are also included.
The provided description does not specify the exact system requirements for もぐもぐタウン, such as compatible operating system versions (iOS/Android) or device specifications. However, it mentions the use of Live2D technology, which typically requires moderately modern smartphones or tablets.
