I tried lots of other apps like decibel+ and all of those apps but they never worked properly and were non accurate but this one actually worked and was calibrated properly! I know this is just basically a lite version but all the full version lets you do is turn your phone on its side so I say so far this app is the best decibel meter on the App Store! Tested in quiet room, about 35db sounds right. With radio on mormal volume reads about 50. With radio up, goes up to 65-75db. Doesn't seem to read high like the other apps seem to.Wolfman73174

Brilliant app!
I'm still running the pre-update version. This app is great. Easy to use, accurate as i measured it against a properly calibrated db meter. Never crashed. Well done developers!!Wootang
looks great, but doesn't appear accurate
I'm a pro sound engineer, and I was at first very impressed with this app. Untill I put it up against a hand held dB meter. This app was was showing levels up to 10dB lower than my normal meter!
I was tempted to buy the full version, but I don't think I will now. Unless they've tweeked the full app to actually be accurate.Show lessTechie Tim
