Fun, but hard to hold
Doodle jump is always super-fun, but this version for iPad is cumbersome compared to the phone version because of the size and weight of the device. The levels are pretty much the same with the exception of the multi-player racetrack level, which is a good improvement - it's nice to have the ability to easily try out the multi player version without having a friend in range. Otherwise, the doodle jump graphics are great, and they put out good upgrades pretty often. All in all, well worth the couple of bucks it cost.Show lessvfusco96

Just as good as the original
Love the HD graphics, gameplay is fun, keep up the frequent updates! Only problem is that the platforms are too far from the side still, it's not possible to go from one side to the other like you can on the iPhone or iPod.perkinsb1024

A really good adaption from the iPhone version. The graphics are amazing on the iPad 2's display, and the gameplay is easy to use and fun. Well done, this is a very good game.mchg

Great game, but too similar to iPhone version
Considering I've racked up 21 hours playtime on the iPhone! (eek!) I felt I had to get the iPad version. But to be brutally honest, I'm somewhat disappointed. Really felt they could have done a bit more to make it work with the iPad. For a start, a horizontal mode would be much better. The iPads too clunky to hold in portrait.

Making the ipad version of this game a little more different/unique from the iphone version would be amazing. More levels, adventure gameplay etc. would make this game so much more worth it.Novum Eboracum
I have to say I dont love it
I have had the iPhone version since the beginning, but this version feels like a port and everything just seems far too large like I can't get the device far enough from my face. The iPhone version is much better -- you can really tell this was not designed for the iPad. I am not impressed. Also as in the early iPhone version there seem to be numerous scenarios that are not survivable in the game. I am having a lot of trouble at 37-38k...Show lessthebirdman7

I bought it and just let me say, you'll THINK you're going to regret spending 3 bucks. But trust me, YOU WON'T! I had my doubts, but Lima Sky pulled trough adding the iPad-only racetrack, which is, by the way, PHENOMENAL! Get this app! It's just three dollars. That's about what you'd pay for a pack of gum!
