Totally Useless
Very poor excuse for an App. Needs a search function for EVERYTHING at the fair not just the buildings that have been there forever.Dissatisfied Liverpool

This app is better then I thought it would be. It lists the schedule of events, and as time goes by throughout the day, the app lists the most recent events. The map is interactive to some degree, you can tap the number listed on the building, and it contains the name of the building. Also, if you tap on an event from the schedule, it will show you on the map where it’s located.Show lessThe Worksite
Worse than before
I agree this app was terrible. The schedule kept updating while I was using it and the link to fair food never loaded. Last year the app was great. I was disappointed this year that it was not helpful at all.RubyChick4

Is nothing but a map. No list of vendors, minimal event schedule and no details about what events they do show.

NY State Fair just released the majority of the schedule which is now shown on the app. The schedule updates without needing an app update.App won’t work

This app is almost completely useless. You used to be able to search for specific food vendors and it would at least give you a vague description. Now you can’t even do that. Throw a few thousand towards a capable developer and help yourselves out.RicaChicka

This app shows the daily schedule of the fair and the location of the events. This app is not produced or funded by the NY State Fair. The satellite map is limited by the last time a satellite image was taken and completely out of our control.This app stinks
Why did you change it. Last year it had everything I needed. Now it’s jus a map of the fair. Lived here my whole life, I think I can get around at the fair.unhappy fair goer

Our app is not produced or funded by the NY State Fair. It provides a list of daily events and where they are located. You are confusing our app with the official app which the fair developed and discontinued the next year. During the fair, the schedule opens to the events that are occurring at that time.Really?! In this day and age?!
You people couldn’t come up with anything better than this?! This is even worse than last years. The map has to be several years - it shows nothing but a dirt mound. Where are the schedules of the individual presentations? Where is the vendor list for food? This is our NYS tax dollars at work, I guess. Why am I surprised? Pathetic.Show lessmartha bee
Missing Feature
I am not able to select the events that I want to attend and be sent a reminder of when they start. Makes it difficult to pre-plan my visit to make the most of my visit. I believe this was available last year.RFLabMan

You are confusing our app with the official app that the NY State Fair produced and discontinued the following year. Our app shows you what is happening as it happens and what is next.How about updating it!
Satellite view isn't correct shows grandstand and track.... 2 maps both old and probably new
Schedule - show pre fair activities but nothing opens for fair schedule itself -basically worthless until updated -what happened to my APP!

We have no control over the satellite images as we don’t own the satellites. As with most mapping programs the images are updated about once a year even though we continue to report the errors.
