The current version 1.1.0 of the tree-guide app is programmed on the modern 64-bit technology and thus prepared for all further ios updates. Brand new in this version are the conifers. On the one hand sorted by commen name or as a determination tool on the needle arrangement. Also new ist the tree age calculator. The app has become a bit prettier and bilingual. The language is automatically selected by the app. If the system language is German, the German version is displayed, for all other languages the English version is displayed.

In der Version 1.0.8 sind eine Menge neuer Bilder hinzugekommen und es wurden weniger aussagekräftige Bilder ausgetauscht. Die Beschreibung in den Baumprofilen ist ausführlicher und bei der Bestimmung hilft jetzt die Anordnung der Blätter/Knospen am Zweig. Die App ist auch für das iPad und für das im Herbst erscheinende Betriebssystem ios 6 für iPhone / iPod / iPad optimiert worden. Wir wünschen dir/Ihnen viel Spaß mit der App.

Diese Version ist leider technisch fehlerhaft. Wir sind dabei die Fehler (bei einigen Profilen lassen sich die Bilder nicht vergrößern und es kann zu Abstürzen der App kommen) zu beheben! Großes Update: Version 1.0.5 beinhaltet jetzt auch Nadelbäume, weitere Laubbäume, mehr Bilder und Informationen zu den anderen Rubriken. Die Bilder sind in der Größe optimiert worden. Die App kann aufgrund der Größe nur über W-lan oder über den itunes-Store auf das Iphone geladen werden. Sollte sich ein Fehler eingeschlichen haben, schickt uns bitte eine Email. You can search by leaves, fruits and winter marks, and all options are illustrated. At each listed tree, you will find a profile including important information and up to six images. The app is for people who are interested in trees and for students as a learning aid. The tree-guide-app is user-friendly.
Tree name: the name of the trees are sorted by the common name. The botanical name stands behind. For each Tree there is a tree fact sheet with description and up to six images.
Determination aids:
1st Tree Leaves: The most frequent method used for the determination of trees is the determination of tree leaves. Especially in autumn when the leaves fall this tool is very useful. All tree leaves are shot so that you can compare them very well. All photographs were taken and processed from tree portal employees.
2nd Tree Fruit: The seeds of the trees can have very intriguing shapes and colors. Those who are curious will be able to assign the correct fruit of the tree.
3rd Winter characteristics: The tree determination in the winter requires some practice. However, trees are easy to identify in winter either of the bud (size, position, color) or by the remains of leaf or fruit stands. Significant images support the determination.
