  • Best Sounding App For Music

App ran great until about two weeks prior to this review. Now app runs great for first time after installing then crashes subsequent tries to start up. Seems to freeze in the "loading library" screen. That being said, when it works, it is the best app there is, as my previous review stated below.

Best sounding app for music ever!

This app has an awesome algorithm that levels out overall music volume in real-time by bringing up volume of the quiet parts of each song. This app seems to process music by what is known as automatic gain control (AGC). This is excellent, especially listening through a car stereo as the quiet parts of songs do not get drowned out by road noise and such.

Also, this app has a good cross fade option to keep flow of music.

This app is not flashy but it is hands-down the best-sounding app for music.

  • YAY!

update, happy days are here again! it works beautifully again on my giant ipad pro and my iphone 6s plus!

i purchased this app a while back and it was phenomenal for listening to all types of music and getting great sound when using high end headphones. as mentioned by others, since the latest update it just does not work at all. very disappointing.

since writing this review i have replaced my ipad air 2 with an ipad pro. i was really looking forward to listening to my music on it but alas, nothing has been done to fix the issues. i check every no and then to see if it has been fixed but still.......each time i check i am sadly disappointed.

  • Almost .....

Oh boy, this is such a great idea, adjustable EQ and compression in an app that accesses all your music on your iPod etc. It sounds great, especially with Rock Music BUT it is full of bugs, at random navigation buttons disappear, controls don't work properly and it simply stops playing the full list of songs in a playlist.

I really expected more from McDSP a very highly regarded audio company who specialise in plug-ins for computer recording.

I have messaged their support only to be ignored and noticed that this app isn't being updated or bug fixed. Maybe they thought it a good idea to use the respected McDSP name and develop an IOS app and after poor sales gave up the ghost... Either way I am disappointed and frustrated that a great idea that is really useful for people who want more control over the sound coming out of their Apple devices have been abandoned ....

  • FailToLaunch

Was once a great app but no longer works.Deleted and reloaded but it doesnt work on iPad. Dont waste your time with it.
  • Super app

I have had it for two years now and it has never let me down. It's 2016 and I am still using it on iPhone 4s iOS 7 and It works great. It is simple to use. Highly recommended.
  • Clashed crash.

It's been 4-5years since first usage of this app, it still works perfectly fine on iPhone, but it crashes when I open it on iPad.
Both the iPhone and the iPad are running the 2.1.0 version.
  • Current version does not function

    Device: iPad Mini 2
    iOS: 9.3.1

Wonderful app when functional so look for an update. I've been checking nearly everyday since it is a tough app to live without :(
  • Latest version crashes

I love this app, but now it won't even start since the latest update. I've contacted the developer twice with no response... Please sort it out!
  • No updates

This app has no longer functioning with iPad.
There have been 2 OS updates since it ceased working. I notified the company, as soon as it ceased working with the OS.
I was never contacted by the company, and it still remains non functional. Cannot recommend.
  • Needs work

Sound is improved, but needs update doesn't play with Bluetooth head phones properly and doesn't follow playlist , plays songs outside of desired playlist frustrating
