  • Great app!!

I bought this app because I was unhappy with the default iPod Touch music player. This app increased the volume output noticeably without distorting the bass of my music. The bass on my Beats Studios is no longer muddy. I highly recommend this app for music lovers who want more of a kick to their music.

  • Never got the DSP to activate on any track

For now I'll stick with alternative music players which cannot do crossfades or normalise amplitudes but can cue up tracks from iTunes Match by downloading them in advance and are just more robust than this app is at this time.

I never got to hear ALX in action despite all the non-DRM tracks being definitely on the device, the status remained 'blue'.

I am beginning to think that a robust music crossfader cannot exist with iTunes Match on iOS 6.

Doesnt sync with itunes on computer very well when updating. Play count doesnt update, which means if you like to play songs once and replace them with unplayed songs from your itunes playlist, it wont work. Hopefully they fix this, also no way of rating songs , like the 5 star rating process in itunes. Other then that this is the best player i have used, mostly for the crossfading option, so one song blends into the next when playing it.

  • Thanks

I also like the "full screen" mode and the ability to rewind and forward songs by swiping left or right. The "ALX" software and the equalizer does improve the audio on songs that need it.

    Thank you.
  • Amazing New Update

The update before this one allows the app to run in the background and the new EQ enhances your music even more. Being an Audiophile and a Producer, I love how my music sounds in the studio. This app revives your standard music files, making them sound as if you were in the studio yourself! However, a search bar to find your music quicker would be fantastic.

  • Fabulous audio tool

This app is so much more sonically superior to anything on an iPad, it's no funny. Getting pro level Compression and visual EQ curves is way more valuable than the paltry price would indicate. Just get it and get the most out of the limited audio iPad hardware provides.

Reviews about "unnecessarily complicated" show a simple minded lack of tech skills. This is a superior product.

  • App frustrates music listening experience unnecessarily

This app makes playing my music match library a nightmare. It will only work as an eq if the music is physically stored on the devise. It thus requires too much storage (i have a huge music library), and in this way it also prevents use of the devise for any other purpose while streaming music from music match, requires that the devise be awake 100 percent of the time, which uses too much battery power, and thus is a disappointing waste of money, which I want back. Ill just stick with the standard player until a better option is available. Take my advise save your money if you are a music match subscriber.

  • SOLD in 5 Seconds !

This app is a GEM !!
  • Not worth the money

Having had EQU on my iPad 3 I was looking for a app that had gross fade and thought I struck the jackpot when I purchased this app.

For the first half hour the music sounded stunning using airplay and my home HIFI but then things started to go down hill.
First it kept cutting out and the only way I could get it to work was by shutting my iPad off and restarting it this seemed to cure the problem so I thought it might just be my airplay playing up.

So I tried playing through my Bose speakers using Bluetooth this sounded awful almost like the music was phasing in and out, so I thought I would give it another try by again playing it through a different make speaker again using Bluetooth in my bedroom same problem the volume was low and again it was phasing in and out almost if I had some sought of reverb on.

Things just went from bad to worse with music tracks locking up and the rest of the app not responding.

Tried it through headphones same problems phasing in and out plus if you tried changing any of the settings the program would shut down and send you back to the main page.

My only guess is this app has not been updated to IOS 6.

As things stand at the moment it's not fit for purpose and a complete waste of money..

Should add I'm very disappointed as for the brief time it did work it was brilliant.
