I don’t want you storing my personal info, so I don’t need to share my Google account with you. My iPad has plenty of storage, so thanks anyway.
Post-It notes don’t spam me with ads.

We don't store your personal info. Please read our privacy policy. While Google does track some information, none of it includes anything from MedTracker. It is no different than using the google search engine in a web browser.

Real good reminder & document

3 stars ......Like this app for time taking you pills and documenting when and what your taking . What will make this a all around app that you need as a must is if you could input the amount of pills you have and it keeps track and it deducts and you can set an alert about a refill needed for medication when you reach a certain amount left

Good idea, we will need to determine if we can do this without adding a lot of complexity. Thank you for using MedTracker.

Perfect tracker- except 1 thing

This app is great EXCEPT: it does not allow you to see a list of ALL meds taken by time. You can see all doses taken for each individual med- but not a list of all meds taken today. Devs! Please update! Thank you for making an amazing app! (Also, please update the quantity so it does not default to having a decimal point. If my standard dose of ibuprofen is 600mg, I don’t need to have the default dose as 600.0)
Thank you again!!!

MedTracker does show a list of all medicines in your list and the last date taken. You can get to this list by taping the Share Icon on the main medicine view. In the new release (4.3.2) due out in the next few days you can also save the info in PDF files. Now that we have this capability we will be working to improve the reporting (and the 600.0). Thank you for using MedTracker.

No sync between devices

Overall this app does what need. Soo can tell if I took a Med or not. But it has no sync function to other os, so unless I’m carrying around the same device (iPad) I can’t update that I took that pill. So hasn’t been too useful in real life.
Please implement iCloud sync that I can sync on the road as well as home. Then it will be immensely useful.

Yes, we are aware of this limitation and working on it. Thank you for using MedTracker.

Used 1 year now stopped tracking

I used the free app for a year. Found it to be great and very help for my 15 + meds. Then I noticed it to miss entries and edits the day after. Not sure of the reason. I cannot contact technical support to troubleshoot to solve the problem.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear you are having problems. We do not have any open bug reports for Medtracker, so we would very much like to hear from you. EDIT: 24 Dec 2019. We have found a bug in this area and it is fixed in version 4.3, due to be released after the holidays. To report a bug, go to the Apple Settings app, scroll down to MedTracker and tap on it. Then scroll to the bottom of the MedTracker Settings and make sure that "Enable Shake to Prepare Debug Email" is turned on. When this is turned on, and you shake the device, Medtracker will gather a bunch of info and prepare an email to send to us. This email will contain the logs and other information about your use of Medtracker. You may edit the email before sending. So shake your device and then be sure to add your description of the problem to the top of the email, and tap send. Of course this requires that email be setup on your device. We only respond to emails for technical support. If this process fails then email us at medtracker@fairwindsoft.com. It is really better to use the app so we can see what is happening when the error occurs. We very much want to get this problem sorted. Thank you for using MedTracker.

Apple Health integration

It would be very helpful if there would be integration with Apple Health.

Response from developer

We have looked into this and unfortunately Apple does not provide a way for this integration as of 28 March 2020. Thank you for the feedback and for using MedTracker.

Tried and didn’t like it

Not very user friendly. Too many required fields.
I just want to track when we give our sick Tylenol so we don’t overdose etc.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. We have tried to make MedTracker easy to use, but MedTracker is used in many different situations. Your use for Tylenol is very close to the default. To set up Tylenol, you just need to type the name Tylenol into the top text field, type the quantity you expect to take in the second text field (probably 1 or 2), then type the hours between doses in the "Hours" field (probably 6). If you desire to have a notification on your device when the time to take has arrived, then turn on "Send Local Notifications". Thats it. Every thing else is optional. Thank you for trying MedTracker. Edit 24 Dec 2019: We have simplified the medicine setup as of version 4.3, due to be released after the holidays.

DOWNLOAD STAT!

I’ve been a medical professional since the mid 1980’s. Occasionally I used to forget whether or not I took my meds or took them late. One med I take is Xarelto which is a “blood thinner.” It’s extremely important to take this drug exactly as prescribed. I tried several different ways to try to help me stay on schedule with the different meds I take, but none of the methods I used worked for me very well UNTIL I started using THIS APP.
WHY THIS APP and not any other?
Because this app is VERY SIMPLE and RELIABLE.
I usually like fancy apps with great graphics— Boys and our toys! But for taking my meds properly, I NEED SIMPLICITY & RELIABILITY. That is what I get from this application.
GREAT FOR JUST ONE PERSON OR A FAMILY since each family member can have their own med schedule.
I can look and find the EXACT TIME down to the second that I took the last dose of each of my meds and when my next dose is due.
It’s PERFECT for me!

Helpful

A really good app while I was recovering post hospital and dealing with chronic pain - a lot of medications to help me get back to my old self.
-wish their was an Apple Watch option for reminders
- and an PRN med option so the med doesn’t keep buzzing/reminding you don’t need it.

Overall a great free app. Recommend

Great for asthma meds

Great for keeping track of asthma meds during a flare. I can only take rescue inhaler every 4 hours and it’s useful to know when I took it last.
