Good, just wish it didn’t have premium
So I love using SpellingNB but I am quite sad that to get the most out of it there is a premium. I don’t do premiums. Just my policy, but this means that other people like me would have to make 2 or 3 wordlists but otherwise it’s a great app. And really, it’s not too hard to make more than one wordlist. I’m rating a 3. Would be a 4 but with the whole multiple wordlist thing…
Oh and btw to all the people giving it one star maybe that’s just bc u don’t like spelling. And someone mentioned their computer crashing? It’s an iPhone/ipad app. Read the description!!

Needs improvement
This has potential for being a really great app! Easy to add words and they are pronounced correctly. BUT… you cannot be tested on it without seeing the word! So that part is unfortunately completely useless. There needs to be an area where you can HEAR the word and then type it. Currently they SHOW the word then you type it with it right there….
Also an area that audibly SPELLS the word for your child would be helpful as well!
Please consider these revisions… this app truly has great potential!!

Good for studying
Its great the only problem is the inputing the words. Long list like mine at best would take long amounts of time. It would be best if there were some kind of document scan to easily input words.
Works exactly as it says
Been a great app for my kids to practice weekly spelling list from school. They practice a few times and then take tests before taking school test. This app has freed me (parent) from dictating the words.

This app has helped me so much with my Spelling in one day even though you can’t fit more than eight words in one list you can always make two lists and add more words if there is one thing I would change I would let there be at least 10 words in one list but other than that this is an amazing app and I haven’t found another like it it really looks at helping kids who aren’t the best at spelling and Me who struggles with spelling very much I found this is one of the most helpful apps please get this app it is very helpful

A revolution in learning spellings!
Wish I’d found this sooner. It has transformed spelling learning in our house! Now it can be done anytime, anywhere and is motivating for little screen addicts and those that need regular repetition to make those words stick! The retest facility is clever, and the option to record your own voice is a bonus too. It’s super easy to use and is honestly the app I’ve been searching for all my teaching and parenting life so far! Well done!
