Great app
Would be improved if the pages scaled to fit the iPhone screen by default

Beautiful content
Beautiful images and easy app to use
Just a PDF
This is just a PDF of the magazine which means that you have to zoom in on every page to see the text. It also doesn’t make it feel like a magazine as a result. Most other magazines have used digital to create something different and this could be Men’s Health’s opportunity to perhaps include videos of workout exercises or something.

iPhone X support
I like men’s health but why is there no iPhone X support for this app. The US version of men’s health has had iPhone X support for months.
Also the US version is £18 for a years subscription, and £30 in the UK. Why should I pay more when clearly the US has a better app and is updated more often, showing they care more about the app.
Please update the app to justify me continuing to pay for this, might switch to the US version next month.

Poor transition to electronic form
The app is essentially a PDF reader when it had the potential to be a versatile and modern method of reading the magazine. You only need to look as far as Men’s Health US to see what could be done:
1 live links
2 downloadable ingredient lists
3 videos showing exercises
Looking at what it could have been shows the clear lack of inventiveness with the product.
Even if you accept the app for what it is then there are still the following problems:
1 fails to stay logged in
2 No search function
3 scrapbook only lets you save pages not whole articles (unintuitive)
On the failure to log in point - the help desk recommended I reinstall the app, problem didn’t go away AND it deleted all the scrapbook pages I’d saved. Not helpful.
There needs to be a concerted effort to make the electronic copy of the magazine easier to navigate and easier to handle. I’ve reverted to the hard copy version. I don’t have to log in daily to use that!

Not worth the hassle
I have to log out and log in every time I use the app otherwise it tells me to subscribe or buy the issue for £3.99. When I want new issues I have to re log in and even then I have to wait for it to finish downloading before I leave the app otherwise it will ask me to subscribe again. I'm constantly logging out and logging back in! I've cancelled my subscription as it was too frustrating trying to read the magazines.

Unreliable...
Works ok for reading the magazine but having to logout and login again every time I want to read the new issue is really annoying. Please can this be fixed!
Still a nightmare
Why advertise the new edition and then deny downloading - problems too having to logout and then back in to download the new magazine when you can eventually download it ! One year on it is even worse
Pure scam
I changed from a printed subscription to a digital one once I got an iPad, because it’s more comfortable and environment-friendly.
I bought a new iPad and it won’t let me download again the older issues I’ve paid for. Had I known this, I’d have never given them my money.
