Leave a Review Sono Flex
Good, but...
There's an AAC app called CoughDrop that recreated your whole menu. I never bought the app, because when I first saw it, the age was 17+. Then after lots of waiting, and AAC with Sono Flex, Proloquo2go, InnerVoice, ChatterBoards, and PixWriter, PixWriter is not an AAC app. So, I decided to make a lemonade stand to make money for LAMP Words for Life, which I will use to do a sight words filter. Wait! I said too much! I should really stop the text immediately. I will hit send in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, it is done.Show lessAMAZING - but there’s no apostrophe
Love the app. My son has been using for years now - mostly when we don’t have his communication device handy.
The ONLY thing that bothers me is that he needs to use a comma ( , ) in place of an apostrophe ( ‘ ). I tried to add one manually but was unable. Do you think we can get this implemented? I’d greatly appreciate it.
Best,

I’m an Autistic person who uses this app when under extreme stress. More importantly, I introduced the lite version to my cousin, who is nonspeaking, Autistic, and has intellectual disability, some months ago, and went ahead and purchased the full version because it’s that great. It’s very intuitive for both of us and through it, he has expressed things he’s never before been able to.
The only complaint I have about this app is that editing pages is tedious and can rearrange things too much if you’re not careful, which impacts motor planning. Otherwise, I love Sono Flex and would recommend it for anyone who needs a relatively-inexpensive AAC solution.Show less
